Buzzing from the speakers when the game freezes - non-system soundOriginally Posted by islanqicases Go to original post
After the update to ubisoft connect the game is unplayable on all three PC's that we have previously had zero issues with running The Division 2. Have tried numerous fixes from downing the graphics and downloading the newest drivers but it does nothing since it was something in the patch that screwed things up.
It's nice to know that all we warrant is a "we're investigating", response. Devoted players, loyal to Ubisoft. I am sure most of us are UPlay subscribers (I am). It's unfortunate. Maybe what I am looking for is more reassurance? I don't know. What I do know is anything would better than that. Maybe a time frame? By now you know the issue is related to the most recent update. The least you can do is roll it back for us so we can play while you fix. Or, change the options and give us the ability to play offline. Something...anything...we don't feel like valued customers.
PC: Game froze for the 6th time in a row within 15min, this time during a skirmish while I was behind cover and sniper distance from the Hyenas. The picture froze and after waiting a solid 60secs I got the "not responding" message. Closed the game in task mgr. After restarting the game it opened on my dead agent with the 'respawn' prompt. Apparently, the game continued after freezing at my end, long enough for the Hyenas to reach and kill my agent.
With my limited network knowledge/experience, it does seem to point to a server-side issue. I've never seen the game open on a dead agent before.
I've been crashing even without playing = literally loaded and tended to my kids, came back the game was frozen.
Another one is started the game, answered a shepherd call, there were 4 of us, one-by-one we disconnected. I was the 3rd person to disconnect.
Ubisoft, you have a HUGE problem right now.
