Who the hell thought it a good idea to merge all these threads? The original thread was concerning an already present crashing issue with the game. Now you've just muddled things up by adding loads of posts that are about a new and completely different issue brought about by the latest UbiSoft Connect update.
Tried the following:
- Fullscreen mode and Borderless Window mode
- Dx11 and Dx12 mode
- Closing all background apps, so the only running third party application was the Ubisoft Connect client
nothing helps.
Since release of The Division 2 until two weeks ago I never had crash to desktops.
In the last 2 weeks until yesterday I had only one crash to desktop in an multi hour gaming session.
But today something change:
In the last 5 hours I tried to play around 20 times and I was never able to play more than 5 minutes. But it is not a crash to desktop anymore. Today the game just freeze, Windows is reporting "no response" from the game after some minutes. Sometimes while fighting, sometimes while running around without fights in my line of sight.
I'm unable to see the reason for this freeze problems.
