    I know mileage may vary from case to case but will add here that I recently refreshed Microsoft C++ Redistributables which is a known Ubi support troubleshooting step to resolve crashes/freezes and it appears to have worked for me. No dx12 freezes for my past few 3+ hour sessions. If you haven't tried this I recommend giving it a shot. See below for text from my support call with updated URLs to required files (as some of the previous old links were dead). Reminder if you're runnnig 64 bit Windows you need to install both the _x86 and _x64 files. Uninstall old installations first.

    first time posting in the ubisoft support forums.

    I have been having non stop constant crash to desktops for the past 2 weeks at this point playing this game. before I didn't have any issues but the crashing is making it unplayable to enjoy this game.

    in terms of stuff that I have done to TRY to resolve the issue

    I have tried to run the game at lowered visual settings

    both CPU and GPU running at stock speeds

    I did have to re-install windows because for some reason my BIOS was in legacy mode instead of UEFI

    i did run my RAM at both XMP and stock settings

    I have verified my game files and uninstalled and re-installed the game a few times already.

    I did generate system reports to attach to the thread (not sure where that button is to share the files for troubleshooting)

    in terms of crashing frequency, it is very spread out. sometimes it'll be 5 mins into the game or even 1 or 2 hours into a game.

    I am running out of ideas WHAT the actual issue is, not sure if it's hardware or software related but I just need an answer as to WHY and HOW to fix it.

    I also tried running the game in both DX11 and 12 and can reproduce both issues.

    I have also tried recommended fixes from the community and still run into the same issue.

    I do have a mix of M.2 NVME, SSD's, and HDD in my system, installed on those to see if it's a bad drive and the issue still persists.

    If I need to create a new post in the support thread instead of replying to this thread, I can do that as well. I just want to game is all (insert crying sad face)

    IT'S STILL CRASHING TODAY RIGHT NOW.

    FUNNY INVESTIGATING MY FOOT!, this issue has been going on and on and on for as long as this game was launched.

    I love this game. It's a great game to play during my time away from my kids and my Animal Crossing: New Leaf played especially on my favorite New Galaxy Styled Nintendo 3DSXL. However, lately my Division 2 game starts up on my and destroys my screen. It's a blue screen of death, but I can use my mouse still; a pseudo blue screen of death, if you will believe me. Now I'm not a man to take action against something that isn't focused on Nintendo; but if this isn't fixed soon, I, Nintendo Reggie Former CEO of Nintendo America will personally call Nintendo and question Nintendo and Ubisoft's relationship in the gaming industry.

    This is crazy 4 months and no fix,game is uinstalled, so give me info when your game will work,it should be fixed long time ago....go back to the division 1 what a masterpiece with underground.

    soon as load and walk kills pc

    i load up division walk forward and it kills my pc like completely unresponsive have too unplug and restart it only happens with division my pc is up to running the game my specs are as follows:

    cpu: intel i7 8700k
    gpu : nvidia rtx 2080
    16gb of corsair dd4 ram

    mother board z370

    any help please driving me crazy
