I tried every single solution in this board, from making the EAC use only one core to disabling all overlays, to running the game as administrator and nothing worked.
I certainly think the devs forgot this game and so will I do, I didn't pay for this just to get even more dissapointed at how many seconds can pass before the next crash happens.
I'm trying to submit a case with the attached files as requested, but as soon as the Category is selected from the dropdown on the "Open a Support Case" page, the email option disappears and the Chat option is not available "* Chat is currently unavailable. Please choose another support method." - no other method is presented or visible. Wanting to provide the info to help troubleshoot this but unable to.
Hello,
I just installed the Div 2. It's constantly crashing.
I have verified my specs, verified game files, disabled all overlays, updated the system graphics. Ran the windows troubleshooter and tried the suggestions. I also override the High DPI scaling, disabled full-screen optimization, lowered my display resolution, lowered my in-game settings to the lowest. modified windows paging file size,
Why is the game constantly crashing? Sometimes it can't even get past the loading screen
After 3 days playing for about 1 or 2 hours a day without crashing im crashing to desktop again, deleting directx cache now and starting up game again to test if that fixes it.
edit: 40 minute play session so far without crashing after clearing directx cache, hoping i stop crashing now if i clear cache each time, gonna test without
clearing cache after disabling hardware based gpu memory sheduling to see if shader cache is corrupted somehow this way if i stop crashing.
Edit 2: 87 minutes no crash to desktop so far after clearing directx cache, its cleared via the disk clean up tool in windows 10, if its indeed caused by cache next question is what causes corrupt cache, its not only a division 2 issue clearing cache fixes flickering in wow for example im sure the issues caused by corrupt cache can vary per game in division 2 case it might cause crash to desktop ?
I had finally resolved my issues a few weeks ago, and have been enjoying the game crash free for a few weeks. What finally solved it for me was disabling G-Sync. I was using nvidia driver 465.89 and all was fine. Yesterday I updated to 466.11 and now the game crashed after 2 minutes. Going to try to roll back see if it helps
