Guys can you please revert the changes you have done like updates or so. Don't need any repeat seasons. Please don't just leave the game running like this, you are causing more frustration to users. Revert the state of game as it was before crashes.
Also I can see 1 directive missing, is it expected ?
Hi - I just finished a support ticket with you guys - ticekt number: 14277608.
Problem was CTD after 2-3 minutes when trying to stream via OBS on 1080p @ 60 FPS
SOLUTION:
- Open OBS
- Settings-->Output-->Advanced:
-Encoder:Nvidia Envenc(New)
-Bitrate:2500kbps
-Rescale to:720p
-Key frame:0
-Max B-frames:2
- Settings-->Video:
-Output resolution:720p
-FPS:30
- Close OBS
- Start The Division 2 and let it sit in-game for at least 30 min (I let it sit in-game for around twenty min only moving character once in a while in order for game not to quit to Main Menu, and then I played for 30 - 40 minutes)
- Start OBS
- Start streaming, without changing any setting, on 720p @ 30 FPS
Played for more than an hour without any CTD
This past week the game has been crashing on me constantly for no reason. Each time it crashed I was doing something different. It even crashed while I was in the settings menu on the character select screen. Whatever was in the patch released this past Tuesday seriously messed up something. Gonna try a clean install to see if that changes anything.
I am a new player (level 11) and the random, inconsistent CTD is frustrating. I am testing everything I can, with reducing running software, updating all drivers. All my other games work fine. I have over 30 years of I.T and tech support knowledge under my belt. My rig and software is fine.
There are no error messages, no screen shots to send - it happens instantly after 30 secs of playing, sometimes 2 mins, sometimes after 1 hr, etc.
There are no diags to send. I run a standard mid range PC - Gen 8 i7, 16GB RAM, ASUS motherboard, GTX 1080.
I currently run Valhalla, Doom Eternal, Rage 2, etc. all without issue.
Please help this game run consistently as I enjoy playing it, but it is currently very unstable.
Regards,
ArdrichFishman
