I opted for the most radical approach by uninstalling the game and removed all files in the 'Documents/My Games' folder from The Division 2. Then installed the game again (took few hours) but was able to complete all 9 check points of the current manhunt without any problems. Had brief freezes of 2-4 seconds 4 times but other then that it all worked well. So for those that are having a lot of issues like I had since yesterday this might work for you too. Going to try again later today and clear the other parts of the manhunt target.

I have not opened Ubisoft connect yet or tried to play The Div 2. I was having crashing problems & it sounds like we still have a problem. I would or could try something different before hand if a moderator thinks it might help. I'll check back -

Fire the game up and the exact same crashing is still happening.

What an absolute joke of a company Massive/UbiSoft are. I'm starting to think they're just saying they're looking into it, but the reality is they simply don't give a **** about fixing it.

Was this update in specific regions?
I did not receive or install a download.
I played a few minutes but it crashed after a few minutes.
    Nothing new here

Thank you for the efforts of Ubisoft team. Just to feedback my observation after the latest version upgrade. I hadn't severely crash issues after disabled the in-game overlay option in Ubisoft Connect, some crashes could be solved by rebooting my PC. After the latest upgrade, it crashed several times with the workarounds before. I had go back to settings to enable the DX12 and changed the display mode from Full Screen to Full Screen (Windows), and it looks the game ran smoothly. I do believe there are some minor issues couldn't be addressed with the new fixes, and reinstall the game may help as all configurations can be reset.

Well thank you Ubisoft for doing nothing with the latest patch it is still crashing to desktop in fact it was a faster crash time. I will give you one thing the reload back into the game was faster.
