    Specilaztion Points Feb 2021? Help.

    Hi All,

Been on this game for a while. I came back into it for the New York Add-on recently.
I completed the new campaign (enjoyed dit).
I’m unable to gain more Specialaztion points for the Gunner spec or the the other new ones.
I had the option to fully spec the main three when I came back to play the game and the add-on.
I can’t for the life of me work out what I’m missing?
Do I need to play on another character from level 30-40 for the Spec level points?
My main character is at level 97 SHD watch.
Last night, Feb 16th I did a invasion mission, normal. Level 4 control points. Some super hard level bonties with other agents. Not one point?
Its not a big thing but I was after getting more things completed.
    Im on Xbox GT themillertron
    Thanks for the help.

As I recall originally one could pay $10.00 for a 1 year pass which included Specs. I never did that & had to earn them. I have three & I am bringing my third & last one through NY as we speak. Originally I created another player for a different talent then recently for the third talent. You should not have to do that, just re spec for a different talent. I have a feeling the newer ones are part of a package.

Only the first 3 specializations are fully unlocked.
The new ones, like the gunner, require you to play with them active in order to gain specialization points.

And in order to be able to play with them, you have to unlock them by playing the required field research quests.

So step 1 would be to check your desired specialization at the quartermaster. Upon selecting it you should have the option to see the field recon tasks (pressing G in the below picture). Start the field research.

Step 2: After finishing all the required tasks you can unlock the respective specialization. You can then equip it (F for Activate in the above picture).

Step 3: While playing with the equipped specialization you will receive up to 165 points for your perk tree (you will receive different amounts of points per activity and also upon leveling up, invaded missions are very efficient). You can spend your points while inspecting your specialization's skill tree (space bar for Inspect in the above picture).

Hope that helps you out, agent!
