Some missions not doable with guide markers off

As titled. Some missions, (it may just be faction missions), have inadequate hints for the mission target when guided mode is turned off.

I.e. "In Liberty province: She is near the road"....

Near what road? There need to be other locations in the mission hints if players are playing without guided mission markers. Such as 'near the road north of *location*'. This has been an issue with some missions since the very beginning, how has this not been resolved?

    Hi Arkhaine!

Thank you for providing your feedback on hints and descriptions to complete missions while having the markers turned off.

I have moved your thread to the Suggestions and Feedback section.

    Thanks!

    Absolutely agree with this.

Guided Mode "Off" is a great addition and the majority of the clues are fine but a bit too easy to locate the location/building on the TacMap. For the remaining part of the objective however there needs to be better intel for those playing no HUD, although not to be too detailed that it makes playing no marker irrelevant. A couple of examples:

    1) Locating Madeira's husband in the hospital - without the objective marker there is no way to know where he is once you have checked the reception records. The start was great where it said to check reception and you could locate the reception by actually following the directions on the hospital walls/map but neurology, there are no signs for it at all so you just search every floor and every room rubbing up against everything.

    2) When having to sabotage the batteries so you blow the facility when rescuing Madeira. I had no idea what these were or what these looked like even though 1 of them was in her office! This was also the same issue I had with the Amber Ruin crates that you had to hack. If you are getting intel from someone to do something, surely they know what these things look like? Maybe for things similar to this type of mission, a pic of the objective would be a good idea to go with the clues?

There was a great mission in amber sky where you had to find a base then find and destroy certain vehicles ( pictures in the intel). Fantastic. Great fun trying to spot them with a drone whilst doing recon.

Most levels the yellow dot just appears to go to a location once you have arrived at the base which then ruins all incentive to explore the base. Guided mode is hands down the best way to play this game but it finishes just as it’s getting interesting when you arrive at the base. It took a while to convince my self to turn the setting on but wouldn’t go back now.

How about intel - a tactical map of a base with locations marked of possible targets.

Maybe the yellow dot triggers when you are within 10m of the objective to stop fumbling about looking for the exact switch or maybe the is a shimmer to the computer you use- like you use for loot crates.
