Why are you asking not about big DLC, but about different game?
What did you want from it?
New engine?
New story?
Complete revamp of everything?
Look at Div1, then on Div2 - are you still believe that you wouldn't get just the same game?
Lol.
They split whole community by half: some stayed in Div 1, some went to Div2, some just left.
Div 3 will lower pop in both games even more and wouldn't get anything valuable for himself either.
And why?
Just because some internet stranger wants another 5-hour story in the same decorations and exactly in the separate game?

You won't have to dig very var on the Division 1 forum to find posts with. "Nobody wants stupid gamemodes that no one plays, we want new area's, new story missions and something to do in the light zone."Originally Posted by NET_Eraycer Go to original post
I know it's been a while ago, but that was what we as a playerbase asked for, and we got it. That, and the trophy/achievement data we have from consoles showing us that hardly anyone actually played survival* made them decide a different route. It wasn't exactly a golden goose.
*Mostly because it was payed DLC I think, that's why the Episodes in year 1 where free to everyone.
A lot of the reasons the second game exist is because of what listed above, people asked for armor rework in the first game so you would have an armor bar like the enemies, people complained that high ends became obsolete later so gear brands where made, people complained about shotguns having stagger to ruin PVP so the changed their stats from stagger to melee damage (should have been armor damage from the start), people complained that the plot didn't really go anywhere for the DLCs and made look like we were just twindling our thumbs while the rest of the world was falling apart, so the episodes tried to focus in other places and progess the plot somewhat.Originally Posted by SevenNVD Go to original post
You make a new game when the changes needed are so big that would break more than fix, thatis not the case in a new product testing new ideas, division 2 growing pains are way bigger than the first one because it's a sequel so people already expected a to hold up against a game that had 2 years of updates right from the get go. I mean this game has way more open world activities than the first one to keep the open world going and alive for the player to interact, while changes in gear system are quite heated so making a division 3 for the sake of making a new game is not a good idea if what people want is to go back to the first game
It is feedback like that... that gave us the pile that D2 is, and was. No worries my friend not only will I NOT buy it... but I will never buy another Ubisoft game EVER again.Originally Posted by Regnar_Lothbrok Go to original post

what's the difference between having another game or a DLC?
What do you think we need from it? I think there is a lot of stuff we need from it, but that is just my opinion.
new engine? maybe? or maybe better developers who actually look into the game and not release it until all bugs, glitches, and so on are fixed. Maybe learn how to use PTS and test it out before releasing it to the public.
new story? Faye Lau isn't dead yet, so the story still continues, but a new mission would be nice too.
I look at Div 1, actually, I played and saw what I needed to see in Div 1, along with Div 2. They can do better, but Massive needs to stop giving out promises and not deliver. It makes them look bad. I take that back, they are already looking bad as they are already been with their decisions that cause exploitation, bugs, and so on. I can see some of their reasoning because being a developer isn't that easy either.
I agreed. there are split in the game. Some likes Div 1 more than 2, some left because they can't cheat anymore and good ridden to them. Actually, you know what... Most and all of them left because they can't exploit the game anymore, even made YouTube about it and tried to make themselves look innocent. Heck, they deleted my comment after I busted their bobbles lol. I could care less either way. I like both Div 1 and 2, but Div 1 has a better gear set, better exotics, better skills.
well, its their opinion and suggestion. Can't be helped and its not like the developers listen to some of us anyway. I just hope that developers actually keep their promises in whatever they says this time and not ********ting out of their asses.
However, I would like to have 5 or 6 man team in the open world or missions... that would be cool.
Red bar enemies have more armor than level 40 elite agents with maxed SHD watches and fully optimized high-end gear. Yup, Massive nailed this one.*Originally Posted by xcel30 Go to original post
High-end builds murdered in gear 2.0, continuously made useless with ongoing changes to gear. Yup, Massive nailed this one.*Originally Posted by xcel30 Go to original post
Shotguns 100% useless until almost 2 years after release TD2 release, and even then only marginally useful. Yup, Massive nailed this one.*Originally Posted by xcel30 Go to original post
Very short plotline stretched over 2 years of mostly regurgitated "content" in DLC. Yup, Massive nailed this one.*Originally Posted by xcel30 Go to original post
Nearly every update to TD2 introduced more bugs than it fixed and continues even today to ignore bugs that have existed from the start. Yup, Massive nailed this one.*Originally Posted by xcel30 Go to original post
Frankly, whether they make a new game or continue updating this one, it's going to be more or less the same as long as it is in Massive's hands.Originally Posted by xcel30 Go to original post
*sarcasm, in case it wasn't blatantly obvious
That would be awesome if it wasn't for the fact that only about 1/4 the players who want next gen consoles have been able to get one.Originally Posted by RaciaIAdhesive- Go to original post
They are easy to get tbh, i got 4 of them, one for me and my three sons (not rubbing it in or anything)Originally Posted by chicagolongball Go to original post
When i say easy i mean it just takes a little effort and having the right knowledge of how to get one.....
HotStock app (must have)
Stockinformer website (not as great as some say)
Keep checking AV forum for a heads up from others
Having the item bookmarked on each site
I know - TD2 is my fault - You welcomeOriginally Posted by IVIORTON Go to original post
