I´ve believe in a TD3 - why should Maasive/Ubi slaughter the golden goose that Laid the Golden Eggs?
Forget about the disgracefull end they gave the game and give them a year or two to rethink things
Like the Coronavirus Burnout and Pandemic Fatigue we have now I believe that the same would happen if we had a Dollar-flu - people forgets the flu and they just try to rebuild and staying alive and after some years - the Dollar flu returns and once again we se last parts of our sociaty falls apart - the more or less forgotten and retired Agents of the Division have to gear up again and fight back the new baddies and take the cities back.
New story line New and old agents - huge area that makes the TD1 DZ look like a kindergarden - climate change that have scorched big parts of the earth - Its hard to find food and drinking water - the powerplants have fall apart and the cities are urban jungles.
We are back and this time we have to find a way to surveil the harsh environment - a mutated dollar flu - finding food and water and of course kill a lots of lots bad guys in ordre to rebuild the city
Meh. rather this just be a huge DLC. Would prefer D2 just become a live game for years to come.
Instead of releasing an entire new game, release huge DLC content for $50, in essence the DLC would be what the next tittle would be.
When the DLC is purchased, agents have the option to fly to the new city form the White House.
While it's a good idea, it's just not possible with last gen consoles thrown into the mix. If Massive were to focus only on PC/PS5/XSX then it might work. But with the old hardware and limited storage of last gen consoles they are definitely limited with how much they can add to the Div 2. It already takes up 112GB on my PS4 Pro.Originally Posted by RaciaIAdhesive- Go to original post![]()
Lol...stop dreaming.
Season 4 a major screw up, especially the ending, and season 2, 3, even 4, were just copy-paste of season 1....laziness at its finest.
And now i see a message they want to continue for the next 2 years or so? Yoooo....Division 1 had waaaay much potential after 2 years than Division 2 has right now. They fked up beyond recognition. Do please be realists and stop dreaming that "Division 3 is a possibility and they will do great". They wont do great. Ubisoft is a master at downgrading, first of all, second...either they hire incompetent devs, like Massive, either they push devs to screw up the game. Ubisoft is not far away, like Rockstar, to be the next EA and screw everything up.
What Division 3 when they still have tons of bugs/glitches, and other problems, to fix here?
Imagine Ubisoft plans a Star Wars game. Oh boy....i kinda imagine how it will be...a bug so cool, you open your lightsaber directly into your mouth...game over, uninstall and done.
Thats your opinion but I love this game and I want a TD3 and nobody force you to buy or play the game if you don´t like itOriginally Posted by Licher.RT Go to original post
I believe they slayed the golden goose when they said "Hey you know all those awesome modes that everyone loved in our first game, yah lets scrap them and give them something completely different that they will get bored with in six months."
This game should of been an extension of the first one, a DLC that brought you to level 60, I'm struggling with the fact that I have invested all this time into a franchise to play through a story that just gave up at the end. They think this community is hard on them wait until they give the Starwars group a mediocre experience.
I have tried so hard to stay positive but having nothing but disconnects sense the never joke of an update with the lazy global events has finally done me in.
Well, then there's bad news for you about the PS5 if you're expecting a 2TB+ storage capability.Originally Posted by SirShavesALot Go to original post
Both next gen systems come with the same storage space as the higher end last gen consoles.
So when it comes to storage, it doesn't matter which generation.
An extended D2 lifetime or entirely new D3 would give some of the same possible problems to all the consoles.
They should only focus on PC/next gen. consoles for future DLCs anyway. Don't see the point of releasing an entire new game that's going to be released only on next gen. anyway. Cut last gen. consoles out in order to keep the game progressing.Originally Posted by SirShavesALot Go to original post
Unless they wait a couple years, sales would suck if they make it a next gen exclusive only within the next year or so. Aside the cost of the new systems that alot more people would struggle to afford for some time thanks to the economic crisis events that have unfolded, it's going to be a long time before next gen become the primary consoles in use. They are still hard to come by & the first real "resupply" of them in stores is expected mid-late summer.Originally Posted by RaciaIAdhesive- Go to original post
& "cutting last gen" just isn't an option for them for at least the next several years. Xbox (not sure about PS) has confirmed in the short term, all new games will be available on the Series & One systems. So if the devs don't wait, their only option would be to sell it only for PS5, which would hurt launch & post launch sales even more due to limiting to one console. Kinda a stupid move to do considering due to wary customers, D3 likely won't launch as well as D2 anyway at this point. What they can do is develop the game for next gen, & also have a version to tailor/work on previous gen. Pretty much a "dumbed" down version in a way where it can be run without issues on the last gens.
