Hi!
The folllowing situation. I have a PC with a small SSD (120gb). On this volume I installed windows 10 and Ubisoft connect. Additionally, I have a HDD (2tb) with all my games installed. This setup worked perfectly.
However, at a certain moment my HDD was full. I added a second HDD with the exact same specifications and set it up as a RAID0 volume using windows Storage Spaces. I reinstalled all the games and then the problems started. I played AC3 at that time. It crashes at start. Off course i tried reinstalling, compatibility mode, file consistency check and so on. Then I searched on Google and found this. It turns out that AC games (games with .forge files) can't be installed on RAID0 volumes? Or at least on a windows storage space pool?
As as test, I reinstalled the game temporally on my SSD. Works immedately!
So... Can anyone confirm that AC games can indeed not be played on RAID0 volumes? Or tell me how to make it work?
I wanted to ask this on ubisoft support as well, but "in relation to COVID-19" I'm limited to live chat only, which isn't available (of course)
Very surprising RAID0 is a problem for these games...
