The current elimination and skirmish modes are amazingly dead.

Something that would get me playing, and I think others too, is a "fight club" take on the mode.

The game rules:
- The mode must be hosted by one player
- The mode would use the Elimination maps
- The Host selects an area on the map to be the "Fight Area" (this would be supported by game systems, so it'd be a pseudo arena within the map)
- You have eight slots for players. (Bots might work, but idk).
- Players can drop in and out at any time, provided they're not in the Fight Area.
- Once at least two players have joined, the Host can start the fight.
- The fight rules can be changed between fights to support 1v1, 1v2, 2v2, 1v3, etc. And the host should be able to fight too.
- When a player is killed, they respawn outside the Fight Area. The winner takes Duel rewards (Steel, loot).
- A betting feature would be amazing: spectators could take bets to win Steel.

Something like that would be a lot of fun; might need some tweaking to scrub out the griefing potential.
