Resident Evil crossover event a bust?
So, I don't want to assume or anything like that, but I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only one who was a little disappointed with this introduction to The Division 2 and the lackluster Resident Evil crossover event. after seeing that there would be a crossover event, I picked up a copy of the division 2 and was super excited that I would be able to get some Resident Evil inspired gear. I received my Leon Kennedy outfit, he quit it right away and I started slowly progressing through the game. Finally made it to level 10 and I was wondering why, even though I was picking up shd caches in game and gaining levels, I wasn't receiving any Resident Evil gear. Then to my dismay, just a few days ago, I hear from some people that I met online that I have to have the New York DLC. I didn't have 40 bucks to spend, so today I spent the $27 that I could spend, on premium credits to purchase keys for the Resident Evil caches. Then I find out that the patches and the little trinkets that I was interested in, we're not included in these cashes and according to Ubisoft support, they cannot be unlocked through purchase and they would not unlock them in my game even though I did purchase all of the apparel, therefore, I'm boned, because I did not know I had to purchase the New York dlc. I'm not trying to gripe and complain, even though it's coming across the set, but I'm highly disappointed, especially since I'm still having issues with Assassin's Creed Valhalla and this being my introduction into this fairly decent game, was pretty sad. It's pretty funny that $57 later, I am griping about not getting some patches and some backpack flare, but I guess my life is just that sad. Anyway, not really too enthused about this event. Anyone else? I'd like to hear some comments from @ubisoft about why they did not mention in the Resident Evil Showcase that we would need to purchase the New York DLC and that buying the base game with year one extras would not be enough.
