What would you like to see in a hypothetical D3?

So apparently, many people seem to think that D2 is over. Ok, there will be minor updates and stuff, but I think we can more or less say that it's basically nothing.
And we know Ubisoft won't miss the occasion to make a D3.

So, hypothetically, if a D3 was planned, what would you like to see in it?

    Personally, I'd have a list:

    - A survival mode like in D1, but limitless. I'd like it to be the normal PvE mode but not everyone like it, so making it a side mode would be nice.

    - A simple apart from the PvE mode. So people who want to play PvP can do so and people who only like PvE aren't dragged there for dailies or weeklies. Simple DZ as I said. You go there, play against other people who want to play, and that's it.

    - Having a real impact, visible, useful, on the world. I hated that in both D1 and 2, nothing you do have an impact on the world, outside of your bases. Even after killing all the bad guys, everything is still the same. Why did I go through all of this, if in the end it makes no difference? I want to see enemies falling back when I beat a boss or liberate an area. I want to see people slowly taking over new liberated areas.

    - A reworked, more simple mods system. Ultimately, I'd see it like that: You get a weapon with base stats, no effect, just simple damage. Then, you can put mods on it that will have one single stat modifier. Want more accuracy? This mod has it. Fire damage? Another mod. Zoom? Again, another specific mod.
That way, we can customize completely our weapon exactly how we like it. Nothing random.

    - Linked to my 3rd point, I'd like to see a real "reconquest" of the area. Divide the map into smaller areas than we have now, and we'll have to capture them one by one, which will make our own side territory bigger and give us bonuses. To conquer an area, we would have different successive objectives, from killing a bunch of enemies, to attack the area's boss, or liberate people. And in some important specific areas, you'd have an instanced mission, to do with a group.

    - And final point, but it's more of a wish than a real expectation, I'd like to be able to have a customizable camp. By that I means something close to Fallout 4 colonies (but with prebuilt buildings) or maybe something close to State of Decay, where you'd have empty room but you'd choose what to put there. And then you'd choose who to recruit, with a choice of different NPCs with different skills (like, this one is a rifle specialist, while this other one knows explosives, or that one knows how to keep the morale of your camp high, etc etc).

So, what would you like to see?

What would i like to see for a Division 3.

Story wise and open world a double arc,

You start off as an SHD agent until you get to a specific timeframe in the story and then you get to choose to either stay SHD or go Rogue, choosing either one changes the story and open world from that point onwards.

Or you start off as a Rogue agent with the majority or the map/open world against you where you have to find your own safehouse etc etc until as above you get to a certain point then the choice to stay Rogue or revert back to SHD.

They can do whatever they want. Put in space invaders, dragons, magicians, mermaids, zombies, etc... I don't care, not buying.

OP: starts a discussion so people offer feedback on what they want to see in a sequel
Gamers: throw a temper tantrum and say they're not interested

What do you people think you're accomplishing? They'll simply ignore anyone who isn't a potential customer.

And that would actually be a real excuse for a PvP, unlike the ridiculous "I go rogue in a specific area but as soon as I get out of it, we're best buddies again"

Well, this is not a good moment for putting good faith into the development of the game, it is quite understandable people are pissed right now.

As for the OP, a "double story" cannot work, it's already quite taxing for the devs to follow 1 single storyline, having to wind 2 together would be probably disastrous.

Personally I want to see a complete separation of PvP and PvE gear and skills, nothing that works in PvE should work in PvP and viceversa.

Exclusive gear should be removed from the game, it's an antiquated idea that pretty much locks out people from acquiring it just because of their playing habits or constraints.
IF exclusive gear has to stay, it should be exclusive for a very limited time, 1 month at most.

I think they need to make it more like Survival from the 1st game, but keep it ongoing. Let players keep their gear and allow them to survive.

As much as controversial this would sound, no bullet sponges and no extended magazines for anything other than LMGs (for the magazine feed ones L85 and RPK). For me as long people can dump into crits and have extended magazines for ARs that double their size, game wil lbe balanced around DPS of having 60 round of headshots + crits going into enemies, that just makes everything feel bad. I expect some degree of certain enemies being more bullet spongy but i just think the game is pretty much just this.

Also specializations to come back as way more ...well specialized, not the same build with a different color of paint. Otherwise i would love a bunch of signature weapons to fill in the slot of heavy weapons being way weirder stuff than exotics, more crossbows, bows with explosives, hunting shotguns with slugs, flamethrowers, tazers, RPGs, GL, Supressed weird snipers, heavy machineguns, super magnum revolvers and that kind of stuff.

I don't want to accomplish anything, nor do I expect that they will actually listen. What players want and highly profitable games aren't a perfect match. And they surely aren't going the extra mile putting elements into the game that are considered great game play but simply to expensive to develop (or above their abilities) from their point of view. I purchased the Ultimate Edition year one and seen it turned into something I didn't choose for in the first place, the initial setup of the game was just fine. And I am now seeing post of people that want the 'old' gear 1.0 talents back, seriously?

And if they ignore me that is just fine, I'll be doing exactly the same. Won't be the first game of which I simply decline to continue playing the sequels, there are plenty of others to choose from. If ever then it will be exactly the same as The Division 2, nothing works really well but it's just okay. Then everyone will start complaining again and looking forward to TD4, hoping that one will be perfect.
