    Cant authenticate ownership

    I purchased assassins creed origins a couple years ago on steam and today i decided to play it, when i clicked play on steam it redirected me to ubisoft connect but ubisoft connect said "there was a problem authenticating the ownership of this product"

    what do i need to do to be able to play ACO?

    This generally indicates that you are logging into a different Ubisoft account that you originally linked the game to, you need to ensure you are logging into the original account.

    If you are unaware of any other accounts, or unsure which it might be, then the Social Support team should be able to help you locate the account:
