ok so they admit they havnt been working on anything....then they say we will get more "content" in 2021. Well, im pretty sure it takes a good amount of time to create anything substantial so im guessing itll just be more manhunts or something stupid like that. The manhunts are ok and all but they shouldnt have ever been THE content. They seem more like a background activity that people would do when they werent playing a new expansion or game mode. In all seriousness, what content has this game gotten since release? The Summit? Is that it? I honestly cant think of anything else right now. I know there has to be more. I dont count manhunts as content, its redoing everything weve already done with a little extra spice.
More of a cold condemnation than raw anger. It's just too much BS to let slide.Originally Posted by Riflemania Go to original post
It's not that they were resource starved. It's the way they tried to spin and play the community to keep them interested and hyped when they knew the entire time the whole thing was a lie. That the entire premise from the beginning was to lead the customer on with promises and half-truths rather than just playing it straight.Originally Posted by dagrommit Go to original post
THIS is the company that's going to be making Star Wars? Their credibility is completely destroyed. Literally nothing they advertise, show, promise, or imply can be trusted about about any titles they make in the future. And I know there are plenty of people who don't read forums or look past the surface, so it's probably going to work.
I'm just overall disgusted no one at any level of massive or ubi had the courage to cut the sh*t and just be honest. I don't know why. I shouldn't be surprised it's like this. It's par for the course in gaming. I think it just REALLY pisses me off to see so much potential thrown in the garbage AGAIN.
Nothing was ever promised after season four AFAIK. Instead, we had people speculating about a possible Division 3.Originally Posted by Sircowdog1 Go to original post
What I suspect happened is that S4 was planned to be the last, but that the player engagement through the last two seasons was better than expected. That resulted in lengthy reconsideration of plans before they finally committed. The indecision and lack of communication was annoying (and likely played a part in how poorly S4 ended), but the outcome is what I care about.
CDPR is just the latest in a long line of examples of why you should never trust pre-release hype. That you think Ubi/Massive could somehow be immune from this is surprising.THIS is the company that's going to be making Star Wars? Their credibility is completely destroyed. Maybe soon means the week of March 12th.Originally Posted by immoralthang Go to original post
But yeah, Division is known for having long content droughts, if it isn't obvious by now.
But no matter how one feels about this announcement, "early stages" should be taken advantage of. Welp... time to hit Suggestions and Feedback forum.
