Oh yeah, without the KTM‘s, the BMW and Bandito, you will never get a top 100 time, some tier 3 tracks will still use the Berserker tho, so focus on those tracks for leaderboards. On most other tracks, try and go as fast as possible, rule of thumb is, that KTM tier 1 can do the same things as tango, but its easier. So you can still do pretty much the same tricks. All other bikes however will be hard to do the shortcuts. I definitely recommend you to work on the donkey. You can race on a fair leaderboard there and its quite rewarding, when you platinum tracks on donkey. How many Blueprints are you missing for the KTM bikes? They are a must have for tier 1-2.

With the Bunker, having consistency is key. So this is where knowing shortcuts and the maps comes handy. If you dont know the map by memory in bunker, then you will be easily beaten. Spending golden tickets isnt a good solution either. I always had a hard time saving them up, but now im gaining more tickets than i spend. Im close to 300, once i reach legends, I dont use them. I buy them with tokens, I already own all bunker tracks

(Also this is my main account btw, i finally fixed the email but I prefer using the other account, cauz this one is now having only 1 post :/)
I tell you what. You can race some of my alt account ghosts, if that account is higher ranked than my main, because that account has no ktm. For example for the island plats. My bikes arent maxed there either, so i can only show off good times on that account on challenge tracks

The Assumption is kicking my behind. I have only been grinding at this track since we moved over to it the other day. I moved up from 456 to someplace in the mid-300s by just completing the last time saver which avoids that elevator yesterday. It wasn’t the cleanest attempt, but I had enough speed to pull it off and was very happy to finally get some movement on this track. That first launched jump is still my downfall to the vast majority of my runs. I should be able to better my time even more on that launch which would help greatly.

I didn’t have a lot of time to play today, but made the most out of my attempts by making my biggest moves yet. I jumped up to 203 and hung out there for a little while.

I’m getting better launches off that first part and found a good line that I like by flipping all the way over the small water tower like structure which avoids that bunny hop section and takes me to the next section altogether. I was able to improve some more on the track and moved my way up to 101.

It feels great moving up on this track. I’ve tried to better my time here for so long with no luck moving up what-so-ever. I hope it’s not like other tracks though where I get up to 100 or 101 and get stuck there a long time before cracking into the top 100. I’ll keep at it until I can slay this beast, but will have to try again tomorrow.

I’m impressed you were able to do this so quickly Stefan. This is a very difficult and frustrating track.

Great run on Spinners Alley by the way! You crushed that jump over the roof peak, well done.

...still taking my lumps on The Assumption.

You are almost there. It was frustrating indeed. You nailed the hard short cut at the beginning, just gotta clean up the end and you will probably beat my time!

Today I was working on moonlight tower. I just got a time in rank 120. This map, like rocky desert has an insane, but very difficult shortcut. In fact, it has two crazy shortcuts, but i was not able to use both shortcuts in one attempt. I decided it would be best to use only the first shortcut, as this is still enough to get a solid top 100 time. I did manage to pull of both shortcuts, but never in one run, for that I need more skill.

What a grind that was on The Assumption. I nearly threw in the towel a few times while I was stuck at 101.

I got in a decent rhythm on the back of the track, especially loading up off the sliding metal ramp for the big time saver jump that skips the elevator. That launching jump to start the track is just brutal for me. While I started hitting it successfully more often, it still felt totally random and I missed far more than I made.

On the run that pushed me from 101 to 65, I nearly hit my head on the little water tower as I flipped over it while saving some time. I have no idea how I didn’t smash my head and end the run there. 😀 I’ll take the luck and gladly move on. I’m really thankful that track is behind me now.

I need to take down Moonlight Tower myself Stefan. Ive been trying to beat that track for a very long time. That’s the general theme for the majority of these tracks I’m trying to crack the top 100 on though. Since Moonlight Tower is one of the first maps to unlock, it may my worst finish on those original maps I need to improve... I’ll give that one a whirl now.

Alright mate, good luck on that track. Nicely done on Assumption btw, I agree the start sucked. Moonlighttowers is quite a tough one, espechially if you will go for both shortcuts. I think I will go for the slide in beginning, and then wont do the shortcut in middle. Its probably also possible to not slide the beginning, but shortcut the middle. As i had a easier time with the slide, I will do that. Doing both is absolutely insane tho...but will likely land a top 20 time or higher. Im really close to the top 100, I will try to beat that tomorrow.

I just finished Moonlight Towers. Got Rank 48, really happy about that. I have seen, you are quite close too. Good luck! Its really only the first slide, that os hard. After that just basics. My ghost hadnt had the fastest slide, so its possible to get a even better time without doing the second shortcut.

Great job, I saw your rank on Moonlight a few minutes ago! I agree with you, that first sliding wheelie jump is the biggest hurdle to this track. It feels like it’s less daunting to me than that first launched jump on The Assumption though. It’s a much quicker reset if you fail, so perhaps that’s skewing my perception a bit. 😀. I’ll take the wheelie jump to the assumption launch any day.

I jumped over last night and quickly improved from 260 something to 200 and with a little bit more time ended up at 106 before you rocketed past me, so I’m currently sitting at 107. I left my 107 ghost behind and crashed higher up on the finish line on my last attempt yesterday, so that was deflating. I doubt it would have cracked the to 50 like you finished, but I would have definitely broken in someplace. I’ll be back at it later tonight with hopes of finishing inside my target.

I jumped into Moonlight Towers again this afternoon while on a break. I completely messed up the time saver jump from the 4th checkpoint that bypasses the half pipe ramp completely and lands at the 5th checkpoint. I landed way to far into that belly on the way back up to the finish line. I had enough time built up to that point that it didn’t completely wreck my finish as I moved up to 77. I knew I could better the time with a cleaner finish and tried a few more times. Everything hinges on that first slide wheelie jump, so on my second clean attempt after the 77th ranking run, I was able to put a good run together, start-to-finish and pushed my way up to 35.

I liked that track much better than Great Wall or The Assumption. It played better for me than those other two. I’m probably more comfortable leaning back with the Bandito for wheelie jumps than any other bike, so that played into a strength on the track a little bit. It’s another fast and fun track when you get in a rhythm and put some clean runs together...

I need to move over to Diamond Dash eventually, but see you’ve already crushed that track. Where are you headed Stefan?

    Onto the next one.

Very nicely done on that track. I actually did Diamond Dash today. It is a very easy one (for me anyway) to get top 100. You should try it, you will for sure be able to get the run there much quicker, than the other tracks we did before. All parts are very straightforward and not too hard to do. The hardest part is simply the length of the track. I guess the end is probably the hardest area, as it is very easy to go from a good attempt to a horrible one.

I am not sure yet what to do next, I have many options.

Thank you! It being very easy for you has meant it’s gonna be a rough one for me. I’ve played a few times tonight and bettered my time from 329 to 267. I totally see what you mean about the ending to the track. I’ve had some decent times until I get to the rope bridge. I’m trying to clear that and hit that little valley to launch up and over to the finish line like you do. I haven’t hit that clean yet. It’s all about timing right there and the right angle. I need to grind this one out a bit to improve that sequence. I was struggling hitting the long falling wooden ramp right to launch in that other little dip correctly. I’ve been able to correct that pretty quickly, it’s just that end holding me back right now. Totally agree on the length of this track. Makes it harder to swallow when you have a great time up until and fail at that last part.
