Trebuchet was quite hard...but weirdly easy too. Let me explain. So the first time save was really easy for me. I got completely insane time saves on that one frequently. However that stupid bridge. It was really inconsistent for me and thats where most runs ended. Then, when a few runs continued...I usually had a chance at about a spot in the 50s. However many of these failed at the last checkpoint. At first i got that checkpoint regularly, but then I failed it a few times....and then I got an insane time...could have been maybe even in 30s...but I screwed up the last checkpoint. I got too nervous lol. I later settled with rank 53. Im quite happy with that run. I dont think i have Pondering Crow Roofs. :/ Im missing out on about 15 tracks. Good luck! (i think im missing 2 tracks on the main map)
Yeah, I know what you mean with The Trebuchet. I knew you’d best it this time around though. Your ghost has a great jump up the bones to the bowl like part just before jumping higher to the ribs, you crushed that sequence. You definitely gained some good time there 😀. You also nailed that jump there at the end which pushed you way up the leader board. Great job!
While the rope bridge is difficult and inconsistent for me as well, I can usually get through it with enough regularity to have decent enough times to finish higher than my current 86 rank. I just really struggle with that last jump mightily and everything comes unhinged right there. I either slow down way too much and give back any time I gained to that point, come in too fast and overshoot the finish line or just fumble the lean into the jump and wipe out. I’d love to get a cleaner ending to that track for sure.
I ran with your ghost a few times this morning and can keep up for the most part. You start pulling away a little at the bowl part before the ribs before shooting forward at that last jump which is my nemesis jump on that track. I may need to play this one a little more with hopes of cleaning up that jump.

Alright, i wish you good luck! One more tip for last jump: If ur slightly too high, you might still be able to get your head into the finish line by leaning forward. You got this! What map is up next, after Crow Roof?
Thanks for the tip on The Trebuchet. I just can’t get a clean flip off that last jump low enough to cross the finish line. If I’m able to come off the jump, I’m either coming in too slow and glide slow motion like into the finish line or I’m barreling through very fast and shoot above the finish line like a cannon. A good bit of the time, I’m just leaning back too soon and end up crashing before the jump. I just want a clean jump off that to see what I can do with my time... There’s other tracks to tackle, so I will just periodically come back to see if I can wrangle that last part in.
I moved over to Crow Roofs to complete that leg of the fork tonight. I started climbing from the 201st spot. After about ten minutes or so, I was lucky to improve up to the 150s or so before breaking into the top 100by finishing at 90. I grounded a bit more to try improving that 90 without anymore luck. This track has one big time saver that’s critical to push up the ranks. It’s a timing jump off the launching ramp. The higher you can launch up that next transition is key. I was able to time it well enough to crack the top 100, but would need to really clean that and perfect the timing of launched sequence more to push higher.
Since I’m not sure what the next phase of the game will be, I’m pushing forward for now. I’ve got a number of finishes in the 90’s that I’ll work on improving if there’s still time. Until then...
Onto the next one.
Thinking about moving to the second map to take on The Assumption. It’s one of my worst track finishes left at 455. My launch to start the track needs improvement for sure. Any improvement on this track will be a win for me because it’s a track I come back to pretty regularly without any successful attempts at climbing the ranks.

I just finished Assumption. Got 82nd. This track was quite hard, but I think the issue was indeed only the first timesaver. Hitting the bunnyhop for the skip consistently was really hard. I usually started the track leaning forward and breaking, then giving gas soon after. You just have to find the sweetspot I guess. Not sure if there is a more consistent solution. The bunny hop however isnt required. You can do a slide and still skip the dip, if you dont gain enough height for the bunnyhop setup. One thing that you do need for both however is speed! Else you cant clear it. I watched your ghost and I think you did that part very well. The next shortcut is a slide over the next ramp, skipping a section completely. This one is probably one of the more difficult ones too. Its easy to lean back too sonn and hitting your rear wheel on the beginning of the ramp. (Wheel too low, hits lower than height where ramp starts)
However if you watch my ghost, you can see that i didnt manage to hit that slide on my fastest time. I think you can save .3 secs on that slide maybe a bit more. Lastly, the biggest time save is skipping the elevator. This one is actually quite easy, Im sure you can do this, just watch some ghosts.
I gave Spinners Alley another go. I found a really cool way, to get the exploding ramp part more consistent. My current rank is 26th, i really got that map perfected now.
What i found out is, that you can only hit the wheelie on the exploding ramp, if you have cleared the spinning wheel with enough speed. If you land too far back, on that steeper slope, then you cant hit a wheelie. Now to the trick. Normally you would go into a wheelie at this part. I do the same, but then i lean forward again, then backward again. Basically i do a wheelie, stop the wheelie, then i repeat the wheelie. This makes it the perfect wheelie for the ramp and you wont lean back too far. Important: Once ur mid air...lean forwards real hard. The front wheel must go over the gap, the rear wheel must also get over the gap. Leaning forward too late results in the rear wheel clipping the obstacle. Watch my ghost for this one, I think its one of my best times ever.

Here is a link demonstrating the trick, in the video I clipped my rear wheel because i was too slow on leaning forward, but you can see my ghost too, also you can see my inputs.
Also i just got 20th on the cave...i got two of my best runs on Normal bikes today. Crazy...also 24th on Cave Entrance, how am I doing this lol.
Hi Both,
You two are way out of my league, but you are obviously enjoying the competition between you, posting some awesome times.
I need the same thing with someone who hits around the 4000th mark at their best, I always liked leaderboarding, and competition brings out the best in me, but my best just isn’t close to yours.
Got my best couple of results in the last couple of days, I got 2687th on Sunset Dungeon and 2091st on Elephant Graveyard, like I have said, different league but I was chuffedI have higher leaderboard placing, but to me they don’t really count if there are only a couple of thousand times set.
If anyone out there is my sort of standard and wants a bit of friendly rivalry then let me know.

We have all been there. Keep improving your times, you will get better for sure! If you have the island unlucked or some of the other challenge tracks, get going there. They may be hard, but platinuming that teaches the basics. Once all tracks are platinumed, aim for leaderboard spots and dont be afraid to use some of our ghosts.Originally Posted by o...EVO...o Go to original postOur times may be fast, but on some maps, you probably can take use of the shortcuts. Some are easier, some are harder. But most importantly...race ANBA and bunker. Those will not only help you get loot for upgrading bikes, but also give you races around your skill level. Give me an update, if my tips help you get a top 1000 time
. (Also donkey is a bike, that can really help you gain skill, it will be hard at first but the donkey can be a really fun side challenge once learning it, and its easier to get a high score with it as less ppl play it)
I have worked on several early stage tracks to get caught up to you simpledots. You have a lot more top 100 than me for sure. Out of all the tracks I have done so far, rocky desert has always been my most hated track. I used your ghost on it and finally got a good time today. I went from 3800th to 70th...that time save is INSANE. One of the hardest ones I ever did. Maybe not the hardest one I eber did, that goes to a few of the hard platinum times for donkey...but for one simple shortcut alone...that was insane. The issue was, that it was so unforgiving. It needed to be perfect. And i messed up the lift 2 times before I got it. Out of a few hours i only managed to do the shortcut 3 times. I think, I started this track yesterday!
Have you beaten Assumption yet?
Hi Stefan,
I race ANBA and Bunker, although I normally get stuck around rank 9 or 10. I have all the standard Bikes maxed out, and am upgrading the donkey, but I only unlocked that about a month ago, I do find it hard to handle, but I also think it has helped me improve some of my standard bike times too.
I try to race high up times on the leaderboards that use the standard bikes, problem for me is that the KTMs and Bandito can do things that the standard bikes can’t always do.
I have the island unlocked, I have mostly silver or gold on there but no Platinums. Alpha street is still bronze, I managed a clean run, but at least 25 seconds of a decent pace.
I will use your tips and practice, practice and practice some more.
