I just finished Grease Transit. Got 69th. You already got top 100 there with the KTM. its the hardest tier 2 challenge track. I dont think its too hard to do tho, I prefer these over speed tracks where a perfect slide needs to be performed. (Although the end of this track is kind of a slide ). The hardest parts probably are the last cps. Espechially the one with the wooden platform above the saw blade and the slide at end. Those need to be perfect for getting top 100. Also the steep slopes at the beginning need to be perfected, though they arent too hard once you know the strat. I used the Mantis, because i love that bike and its great to see tracks, where its still better than the KTM

I’m glad I cracked the top 100 on that one already. It was a tough one for me to sort out. Congrats doing it with the Mantis! I like that bike also, it’s probably my favorite bike in the game.
I’m with on these tracks that require more skill than the ones that need a big well timed slide or something similar. They’re a lot more fun!
I’ve been going back to Frostmoore since I need to improve a 350. I think it’s one of my lowest ranks that I need to improve. Bonxy has me with a couple lower ranked tracks, but in game has me in the top 100 on them at least. Frostmoore is a track I come back to every now and then. It’s a very difficult track for me to make any improvements on. I’ve been stuck where I am for a while now.
I struggle with the back of the track after the leaving the shipping container. There’s two routes to take to finish the track and I’ve seen top 100 times with both options. I just can’t secure a finish with either. My 350 run has me taking the upper route, but I’ve been trying to lock down a better time with the lower option.
I’ll have to sit down and actually grind on it a bit.
I don’t want to say this one is the hardest track for me because there are others left to go. Happy Fling was the hardest track for me to Platinum, so it’s up there for sure. I played Happy Fling a little bit everyday for a very long time trying to platinum it before I soared into the top 20s. What’s been your hardest track Stefan?

Blah, moved over to Temple Of Doom on the second map Stefan for a quick win. I love the track name and the movie was great too! 😀 This is a straight forward track with a couple big and important climbs that make or break your run.
I needed to improve a 126 and quickly moved up to 79 and 56. The first climb is where I was giving away the most time on the track, so I wanted to clean that up as I had gotten in a decent rhythm with the rest of the track. I pushed my way up to 56, but stumbled cutting the corner at the second big climb just before the finish line. So, I wanted to clean that up as well and pushed my way up to 29. I can probably clean up that corner just before the finish line again, but am happy with a quicker track improvement before I jump back into Frostmoore.

Instead of moving over and grinding on Frostmoore, I moved up one spot from Temple of Doom to Cataclysm to improve a 100 rank.
This was another track that I worked on improving for a while. I had initially cracked the top 100 some time ago and it took forever to accomplish. I don’t remember when that happened, but I remember it being very difficult at the time.
The jump coming out of that tight section off the first checkpoint and before the second checkpoint is a big part of this tracks puzzle. The vertical log after the 4th checkpoint is another key to pushing up the leaderboard. I was able to make some overall improvements to climb up to 87.
I completed a few more runs and pushed my way up to 47.
Not sure if I’m ready to go back to Frostmoore, lol.

I made some progress on Frostmoore tonight by jumping to 126 from 350. I’m going to keep grinding away at this track with the hopes of pushing into the top 100.
I also jumped over to Adagio Flow to improve a 193 rank. This is a fast track but it’s pretty straight forward. I pushed my way to 56 and had some solid runs after the 56 run that nearly took me into the top 30s. I had the 35 ghost soundly beaten until the last two stone obstacles before the finish line. I may try my hand at this track a little bit more to see if I can climb any higher. Until then, back to Frostmoore...

Oof, i was working a lot on Metal Mayhem. That track is hard af!. I always got stuck at the wall. I finally got a very fast time on that wall thing, but i clipped my backwheel on the second to last cp, so only got 62 :/, could have been half a sec faster, but Im happy with the time. Now ill go and do some of those tracks you have done recently.

Oh yeah, Metal Mayhem is brutal. There’s just so many spots that can throw off a run on that track compared to most other tracks. I had to spend lots of time on each obstacle individually before I could put it all together for a solid run. It took a while and was very satisfying when I locked down a top 100 finish.
I fortunately took that one down not long ago, I believe it was just before I started posting about my top 100 progress. I had a very low rank on it before a long grind session at only that course. It’s what I should do with Frostmoore, but have been avoiding. Metal Mayhem was much more challenging of course which made the grind feel different.
Frostmoore has a tricky sliding jump on the lower path to its finish that’s wrecking my runs. It’s frustrating as I normally just keep hitting my head there... Blah, I’ll keep at it.

I just made another jump on Frostmoore, but it wasn’t enough to crack the top 100. I’ve been close and can now blaze through the front half pretty consistently. The run that pushed me from 126 to 106 unfortunately had a rougher start to the track. I’ve been pushing forward no matter the start since I’m still struggling with the sliding time saver on the lower route. I’m using all my runs to practice that spot and feel like I should be able to make a big jump up the leaderboards with a clean jump there...
I also moved over to Slippery Ice from the second map tonight as well. I needed to improve a 148 on that track. This track has a couple difficult climbs with the first one coming directly after the 1st checkpoint. The second big climb which is more difficult for me comes after the quick mini ramp leaving the 2nd checkpoint. That climb up to the 3rd checkpoint was tricky for me and what I still need to improve if I want to push any higher.
It was a fun track to race and I was able to make some improvements to climb up to 120, 79 and 67. I kept racing a several more runs to improve that second climb and pushed my way to 55.
Back to Frostmoore...

I finally took the chill out of Frostmoore! What a grind! Accomplishing that one feels very satisfying.
I just couldn’t get that sliding jump on the lower route worked out and would always bash my head on the flip over the log. I was able to barely sneak inside the top 100 this morning when I finished with a 94. That run had my best sliding flip yet and I pushed through another 10-15 attempts after that 94 run. I was able to jump all the way up to 56. I believe I have something worked out with that tough as nails sliding jump because I climbed a little higher up the leaderboard to 50 in about three more attempts.
A strong finish to this track completely hinges on that section of the map & top times are possible with either route. I tried switching to the upper route while I was grinding away on the lower section. It requires entirely different timing and felt out of synch for me. I had invested so much time on that lower route and I just couldn’t abandon it. I’m happy with my final run!
I’m sure it won’t take you as long Stefan. The tracks I struggle with seem to be ones you soar up the leaderboards rather quickly on.
Onto the next one.

Lol, your gonna hate me, but I literally took 100th on Frost Moore in 5 attempts. Those are cool slides. Ill improve the time now. Cant believe i hit them so soon.
I just improved to 87th, the last slide wasnt very clean, i know i can do better!
Dafuq....i just got 34th without sliding.... check my ghost if you want, Ill see if i can do even faster with slide.
It kinda is a slide but not how you are supposed to do it. instead of clearing that bump i got a super short air time and sped up on the wood bit.
