I was able to run the white lightning out of Grand Moonshine. As I mentioned earlier, I find all the tracks in this upper right hand corner to be very difficult. They took me a while to platinum and are complicated tracks for me. I like them all though because there’s just something to these difficult tracks that drew me into the game early on.

I finished my grind with the BMW F 800 GS bike instead of the Berserker. I totally agree with you though Stefan, it’s a much better experience riding this track with the Berserker. However, I likely would still be grinding away had I not switched bikes.

I needed to improve a 237 on this track and played with the Berserker for about 20 minutes or so. I made improvements and nearly took out my previous ranks. It wouldn’t have been enough to push all that high up the leaderboards anyway. I previously set the 237 with the BMW, so I switched over and jumped to 97.

I agree about the two orange barrels on their sides on the way up to the second checkpoint and that quick ramp to the 3rd checkpoint being the stiffest challenge to this track. I gave up most of my time on that quick ramp after I got more comfortable with the two barrels. After a little more time, I pushed my way up to 57.

Kudos to you Stefan for tackling this one with the Berserker!

    Onto the next one.

Nicely done! Whats the your next track?
Btw, I found out how to do bunker races, just gotta spam the button as fast as possible. And yeah, by that I literally mean go nuts on the button, until it shows you the golden ticket option for more than 4 simultaneous races.

Oh, I haven’t even started in the bunker yet. I smashed in and out to start in order to get rewards. I placed either 1 or legend all last year, so rewards for me are just donuts. I’m fortunate to have all the tracks and bikes unlocked and all the bikes are already maxed out as well. The bunker for me now is all about the completion and improvements on the tracks, so I’ll likely start some races with your spamming approach here soon.

As for the next track, I’m going to see what I can do on Fang Wall before temporarily leaving this upper right section. I want to sprinkle in these insane tracks in as I improve other tracks.

Fang Wall....worst track ever! This dumb af moving wooden platform is my most hated obstacle in all of trials. Will never touch this map again, just got a 42!

The feelings are mutual with this track. I hate it so much, it’s so hard... I had a run last night that should have pushed me into the top 100, probably not as high up as you made it... I did a double flip there at the end and crashed. It sucked and I’m still grinding away. Most of my runs end at the launching ramp, I just can’t clear the rope bridge. I’ve had few decent attempts at that and the moving wooden platform on the climb up after the launched ramp landing eats away at any time I’ve built up. This is a frustrating track! You slayed it though with a 42, had to feel great when the madness ended on this one Stefan! Hopefully, I’ll get there today.

    Edit:

Aaaaarrrrgh! That launcher is absolutely brutal, my approach to it must be wrong. I just can’t get shot over the rope bridge with any consistency whatsoever. I can keep up with your ghost and sometimes even eek ahead just a little bit until that darn launcher. You clear it while I hit many times just before the rope bridge or at the top before the lip.

I’m going up with the same angle and slowing down to hit the launcher, but I have to be doing something wrong right there. This track is frustrating and I didn’t think I’d want to see Walrus Road or The Assumption again, but I’d take a combination course that included both those tracks one right about now....

    Second Edit:

I finally defanged Fang Wall! I got a great front section start and brought as much time before the launched jump as I think I’ve had yet. I have no idea why the launch jump worked on the run since I still think I’m doing something wrong there. Anyway, it was enough to carry me over the treacherous rope bridge and with enough momentum to push me over the moving wooden bridge. I started this long grind needing to improve a 353. I made an improvement to 307 and then sat at 187 for most of this session. I finally pushed into the top 100 by finishing 86.

I still want to know how to tackle that launcher the right way or perhaps a more consistent way...

    Onto the next one.

Nice job. I have no clue how to do it, else I wouldnt hate it right? My guess is, that it’s the rear wheel being able accelerate before it bumbs you up. But idk. What track will you do next?

I’m moving to map 2 for a little bit and plan to start with Choking Hazard.

I cleared the Choking Hazard. I needed to improve a 192 rank on this track. I pushed pretty quickly to 181 and then to 163 by just cleaning up the ending a little bit. The ending is the key to really pushing up the leaderboards on this track.

There’s a couple ways to attack the second checkpoint. I originally started by not doing a sliding wheelie jump there and would instead catch my back wheel off the track after the jump and on the way to the third checkpoint. I was able to push my way into the top 100 with this approach to 93.

I worked on doing a sliding wheelie jump at the 2nd checkpoint and pushed even higher up the leaderboard to finish 79. The ending is what trips me up most on this track. It’s an awkward slow ending with how you normally come off that last section.

I noticed some of the top times had riders pulling a wheelie jump there at the end and tried it a handful of times. All those attempts ended with a crash. I stopped playing for a bit and started again. After returning to the track and racing a few more times, I put a great run together without the 2nd checkpoint time saver and with my first successful wheelie approach at the end of the track. It was enough to push all the way up to 32.

    Onto the next one.

Moving to high tides heights now.

High Tide Heights is tough for me to improve my 115 rank on. I’ve come close a couple times, but have been coming up short. There’s a time saver that includes sliding wheelie jump, but the end tends to slow me down more than that. I’m going to keep grinding away on this one.

I moved over to improve a 98 rank on City Hallway. This is a fun track to ride, but it’s deceptively tricky. The yellow pedestals used to be very difficult to clear, but wasn’t too bad today. I changed the way I approached the start of the track after racing your ghost Stefan. I moved up to 83 and then to 65. I needed to clean up the back half of this track and worked on improving there. After a little more work, I pushed my way up to 43. I forgot how fun this track was and am glad I made a pit stop back here while I was in the area.

    ...back to High Tide Heights.

High Tide Heights has been cleared. This is a precision course that doesn’t provide much room for error. I needed to hit a sliding jump to the 3rd checkpoint and stopped trying to finesse the last hurdle before the finish line. I pushed forward with more speed and a flip to the finish line and finished at 81.

    Onto the next one.
