Alright, that wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. I went back and forth racing my ghost and yours Stefan and started making some consistent improvements in the front half of the track. This allowed me to bank as much extra time as I could heading into that last troublesome jump to the finish line.
I ended up cracking the top 100 when I finished at 91. I felt like I had some good momentum building though and played a few more rounds which proved beneficial with me climbing up to 59.
I had a few runs in there where I pushed ahead of your ghost which was tough until that last jump... I quickly gave up any little lead I had right away. You crushed that part Stefan, well done!
Onto the next one.

Nicely done, and yeah, I did push my time up higher several times when i was already in top 100, as I really liked that track. I really wanted to do a smooth run throughout. I still have to to Rooftops if you dont mind. We both have to do that track. What other tracks do you want to do?
Oh yeah, Rooftops sounds good to me. I need to improve upon a 219.
I was able to take down Rooftops tonight. It’s a tricky track with a difficult time saver that requires another sliding wheelie jump. I can hit that jump enough to avoid any frustration like I had on the Assumption.
The wheels on my bus come off for me when landing on the other side of the double barrels after the sliding wheelie jump. It’s the hardest part to the track for me for sure. Most of my runs ended with me crashing somewhere on that landing. I climbed from 219 to 187 with a clumsy landing in that trouble spot.
I started racing NL-CasperH’s ghost who’s been on my friend list for years. He’s legit and is someone I ghost with often. I finally put a decent run together and finished 74. It wasn’t my cleanest first half, but was by far and away my best back half of the track. I played a little bit longer to see if I could get a better overall run in, but wasn’t able to get another clean landing... I’ve got more top 100s to crack though.
Onto the next one.

I just got it too. It wasnt as hard as I thought it would be. I did it rather quickly and even finished 38th. One lucky slide catapulted me way over the two barrels, cleanly doing that short cut. I kept my cool and even did a risky wheelie on the very last ramp into the finish line, shaving off a bit more time. Completing that big shortcut is very satisfying.
What track will you do next?
Whoa! That slide wheelie jump and especially that landing was killer Stefan! I really struggled with the landing and keeping the right momentum to take me down all that clutter... I may likely try to get a better landing or perhaps jump that takes me farther into that landing like you had later.
I moved over to Hinged Pathway about 30 minutes ago with my sights on improving a 305 rank. There’s a tricky timesaver that’s critical and bypasses the falling ramp altogether. Once you get the timing down on that timesaver, it becomes rather easy... I moved up to 80 very quickly with my first clean time saver. It was a bigger jump into the top 100 than I’m used to. I usually set a couple records if I’m coming from at least 250 or higher.
The most important part to this map to me is that ending with the hinged teeter totter just before the finish line. If you can get over that quickly, you should be able to post up a good time. I cleaned up that part a little bit and finished at 74 and then to 55 with a little better finish. It’s a fun track!
Onto the next one.

I moved over to the second map this morning to try and straighten out Crooked Grind. I needed to improve upon a 307 rank.
This track needed several record breaking runs for me to crack into the top 100. I climbed my way to 263, 215, 177, 158, 149, 117, 114 and then 107.
I got hung up at 107 for most of my grind as I needed to improve at the tack’s big time saver. It comes with a jump over the circular wooden drum just before the 2nd checkpoint. I made some more improvements there and finally jumped my way up to 87 and then quickly to 80.
I struggle most with maintaining my momentum after the time saver jump and up through the v shaped incline after. I was able to make some additional improvements at the sequence and found my way to 77. I had a lot of fun racing this track today, so I kept working at the transition and improved again to 56.
Unlike, Hinged Pathway where I jumped into the top 100 with one decent attempt at its time saver with a similar starting rank, this one took me several more attempts to accomplish my goal. I ended up setting 9 total records to crack the top 100 and another 4 to end up with a final rank of 48.
Crooked Grind was a ton of fun for me to race, perhaps it was all the different records I set along the way that made it even better. That final rank at 48 wasn’t the cleanest run I think I’m capable of on the track, but I’m still very happy to take down another track as I work at accomplishing my last goal for the game. I have more track times to improve, so I’m moving on for now...
Onto the next one.

Yes, I totally had the same issue with the last jump, many good times where lost there. I eventually ended up with a very solid 47 on that map. It was definitely on the easier side for me.Originally Posted by Simpledots Go to original post
Also I just did Crooked Grind. I really hated the first big shortcut, the rest was easy. I ended up with a 74.
Which track are you working on next?
Nicely done Stefan, great times!
I’m actually trying to better my times on some classic tracks you’ve already tackled. I’m working on The Aqueduct right now and having a difficult time with the big time saver on that map. I improved from 175 to 113 and bettered that to 111 twice. I’m stuck there for now trying to better my launch out of that bowl for the long jump to the falling wooden track. That’s a tough jump to nail right now. I’ve hit it better than my current 111 rank, but stumble with momentum again on the way down that falling wooden track. Landings have been my struggle recently on the last few tracks. Hopefully, I can crack the top 100 tonight.

The Aqueducts have been cleared. I found that to be a very difficult track to crack! I’m just not skilled enough to successfully complete the full time saver like the insanely talented riders can.
They come off the rope bridge and into the bowl while pulling off an absolutely difficult sliding wheelie jump flip that carries them up and into the falling wooden track section much cleaner. It’s very impressive & my hats off to those who can pull that off successfully!
It’s was still very hard for me to get a decent normal jump from the bowl without a sliding wheelie. As I mentioned above, the landing for me was brutal. I moved up from 111 to 102 with some more time at a normal jump and landing at the time saver.
I approach the start differently than all the ghosts I raced which included some of the top ghosts on the track. My start to the track saved me some time in the beginning for sure, but I’m not sure if it carries to much speed off the rope bridge for them to complete that insane time saver correctly. Since I wasn’t going for the full sliding wheelie, it saved me enough time to crack the top 100 by finishing at 82. I’ve gotten much better starts than my 82 run, but that landing at the falling wooden track is so hard for me, I’d give up any extra time right there very quickly.
Onto the next one.
I’m going to try and take down another classic track where I need to improve a 145 rank on. Bring on Market Street.
