    Shaolin NEEDS a few changes

I'm sorry shaolin needs a better move set. Here are some things I would change about this character:

    1. Needs better recovery on attacks.

    - I cant stress how annoying it is where every other hero can instantly block after throwing out heavies and lights. Shaolins attacks should have a faster recovery after throwing an attack out honestly should be on the same level of tiandi

    2. Needs better start up options.

    - I should be able to enter Chi stance from zone attacks I dont under stand why we can fient but cant enter chi stance from it. It literally take half the stamina bar and does little to no damage. Depedning on the match up I find myself having to always play on defense and back dodge to get into chi stance to force my opponenet to make an option for me to counter. Shaolin either needs faster lights or he needs some sort of "get off of me" mechanic so he can get some breathing room. of course allow the move to drain a decent amount of stamina and allow punish on reading the escape attempt. But im really annoyed when I have to continously rely on counters to get 30 damage vs everyone elses high tier mix ups consisting on just heavy guardbreak or unblockables just from regular light heavy chains.

    3. Allow Shaolin lights to be swipes not stupid pokes.

    - I dont know how the devs thought pokes would make any sense the lights are easily dodgable. they are slow as **** as well. Can be easily parried. Make shaolins light attacks chain in chi stance from a faster set of light attacks similar to either nuxia or peacekeeper. I shouldnt have to chain a swipe by literally throwing out my heavy. Its too slow to get continous damage.

    4. Shaolin heavy attacks need to be faster.

    - Heavy startups are just too slow for how much damage they do shaolin needs a rework that allows a smoother transition into chi stance its literally his bread and butter to actually get damage into any combo. The heavy chain is only good when messing with the opponent in ganks. But you can delay the second heavy which can catch people on dodge heavy opponents.

    5. Shaolin doesnt need assassins block.

    - Shaolin doesnt attack fast enough for his moveset to consist of a refresh on block it should be consistantly blocking you literally have vangaurds and heavys that have faster light speeds than assassins and dont have an assassins block like wtf is that.

    6. Unblockables and Bashes

    - Like my previous statements shaolin needs a better start up option. A simple bash that leads into chi stance is that simple. I dont want a confirm heavy or anything just a little help getting into chi stance instead of worried about getting parried all the time or blocked and allow it to be fientable to increase shaolins mix up potential without draining his stamina to get damage output.

Thoughts? I'm mainly calling this out since I dont think the charcter is their full potential I may not be experienced or may be both i have rep 33 pc and rep 56 on ps4 moved over to pc. I love shaolin but sometimes charcter in my opinion is just lacking just a little bit to make him actually unique and keep up with other heroes.

Shaolin is literally the last person who I can think of who needs a change. Plus that takes a lot of time to do because of his mixups potential. First let them focus on heros who actually need to be change then the ones who doesn't. Shaolin is fast and his mixups are insane. He has undodgeable attacks, unblockables, and a special type of stance. He doesn't need to be touch now or later hes fine. Now can you talk about heros who actually need one like shinobi.

Shaolin is one of the bottom tier characters in the game, his attacks are no faster than anyone elses, his only strengths come from his Qi stance which you cant chain with and he has to either whiff or land an attack to get into. His undodgeable moves like a dodge attack but it isnt while being very slow. his crushing counter lights are 700ms. Thats a free light parry. Both his unblockablke heavy and kick from Qi stance are on the slower side and give a GB if you dodge them. His dodge attack is slow enough certain characters can block it after you dodge their moves. All of this on top of the fact that he uses a massive amount of stamina to do anything leaves him as one of the weakest characters in the game.

Shaolin, highlander, shinobi, and nuxia are in my opinion the weakest characters in the game and the ones that need reworks and to be looked at the most. These characters need help as they are leagues behind the others in the list.

You forgot Lawbringer, Also I think Shaolin is great. I see amazing people play them a lot all the time. He is not the weakest character that's for sure and he has a amazing moveset. It's really based off how good you are as a player when using shaolin.

Lawbringer is no where near the bottom of the barrel. not when he has ridiculous punishes and such to use. Kudos to those that can play shaolin, hes not a good character. but the style at which you see someone win with him looks amazing. But he is not good. Thats why in high tiers no one plays him. Thats why all you see at high tiers is warden, warmonger, bp, conq, law, gryphon, warlord, and sometimes kensei.

You can have your opinion that shaolin is good, just know that character isnt. He may have "all the tools" to do well but depending on ease of access to get them. It doesnt matter if you have it if you never can get to it.

This is a now rep 70 Shaolin talking about and giving examples as to the problems with shaolins kit. If you think hes good please watch this and see the true issues of the character.

Mr Monkey Man is fine he doesn't even need to be focus on. The characters that need to look at are shonbi, lawbringer, nuxia. Also Highlander is a good hero you just don't see good highlanders.

Highalnder is not a good hero, and shaolin needs help. just because someone can do decent with them doesnt mean anything. The risk reward of these heroes isnt good and the effort you put in vs what you get out is trash compared to any other good hero sucha s warmonger, gryphon, warden, bp, cent, ect. I linked the video so people can understand the actual issues a character may have. You dont know unless you play the character and get to those higher tier duels and 4s where everything about your matchup matters.
