You know you can leave a negative review on steam and still work as moderator for that company on steam, you would be surprised how understanding devs are with actual cristicism compared to "YoU aLl ShOuLd Be FiReD" type of stuff people are going around in these forums.

Ubisoft pull the purse strings and they have made it clear in the no so past, they want games to be yearly or two year cycles, so a Division 3 is likely,

Next If it's way more efficient to add to the existing game why have we got a Division 2, all they had to do was add to The Division and expand that game would have made alot more sense have DC as the expansion to the original NYC,

Or the last resort. Thats it done and dusted no more games in the Franchise.
While i don't doubt a division 3 might happen, ubisoft the same company that is showing off actual restraint by making siege a game that is about to enter it's 6th continuous year and hte news for support for more 2 years of division content would mean that would need to drop division 3 this instant to actually have more than a single year of content while working on two games, avatar and starting on the star wars. So while massive appears that will get a boost from ubisoft to expand, i doubt they are that shortsighted

I don't think what I said implies anything about how I feel as a moderator, but instead how I feel as a player.

I'm a player who's face is smushed up against the ceiling of end game. I won't have any breathing room until the ceiling is raised again, and according to the investors call, that won't happen until later this year and in 2022.

What are players in a similar position supposed to do until then? That's what I hope Massive understands and I'm confident that they do. Forum discussions will always occur, no matter if those conversing are still playing or not.

Nah, I'm too snarky to ever be a mod. One of the other mods even asked me to dial it back a bit. However, I'd rather be snarky than unable to see beyond the end of my nose Merphee fully deserves to keep his mod status.

I'll still play with my clan mates for laughs or when they want to get something done, but yeah, it's time to catch up on my backlog of other games.

Yeah, R6S shows that Ubisoft can do what some people here prefer - though that game has a large eSports contingency. I'd rather them build a new foundation with a Div3, while stating that is the model they intend to follow.

I still don't understand why many expect Ubi/Massive to be a giant exception in the industry. There are zero games that drop full fledged DLC on a 6 month basis. Yearly DLC, plus a new game mode 6 months later is realistic - which is exactly what we got. Seasons are optional, and I prefer them to nothing [which is the alternative].

If this is the end, it was a great run [with a disappointing finish], but I'm still giving them til April, as I've stated all along. In the meantime, maybe I'll finally slog through the end of Div1 [in the hopes that Survival & Resistance make up for the inferior gameplay] and RDR2.. or get distracted by the new Hitman earlier than I anticipated.. who knows, plenty of other games to play while I wait for the next SOTG [if there is one?]

Use the current world, current mission more clever (eg further legendary versions of missions)....

Add a further scene (via dlc) is very easy. Just like new york.

Rework kenly, add a further raid...

There is no need for d3! D2 is still awesome technically (graphics) and meanwhile on gameplay side (small improvements are always possible or desireable).
D3 would take at least until 2023f to release...
    lmao!

    Nothingbutskillz has a theory: https://twitter.com/NothinButSkillz/...24612808335365

Draw your own conclusions given he was disappointed by the ending, and doesn't seem to be under NDA about any imminent content.

Plot twist: I knew were joking this whole time, others might not have, though.

I can see a D3 simply for the fact that they can sell again at full price. Other then that there is no reason not to keep making content.
