Still, I gotta say that I feel like this mission rework was particularly poor, if we can even call that a rework. I played it solo so I don't know if things play out differently in a squad but some aspects almost felt nonsensical. Like random SHD tech chests spawning a single striker drone here and there... What in the was the point of that? I played solo heroic and it honestly didn't serve any kind of purpose, didn't pose a threat or add to the difficulty either, it was just there.

You also get 1 of those modified EMPs we discovered during Jupiter's Manhunt but contrary to that mission, it doesn't fit into the "story" and it's just one EMP in a control environment so it's not like it's magically making the mission challenging. Then a few turrets, okay...

I don't know, it really feels like this manhunt was put together exremely quickly by recycling a few elements and assembling them with no vision, scheme or purpose. Like they were given 2 hours to do a 2 day job. To me, the mission felt, stale, awkward, weird and boring.

Of all the manhunt missions, this was my least favourite. Even Coney Island, that was certainly lazy and kinda ridiculous at times, at least had some kind of identity and a particular feel to it. This one I felt nothing.

The story is basically dead. At this point they need a new game to revive and progress it. I can't see any kind of purpose in what we've been doing regarding the plot. We killed Keener and his rogues, Hornet and his rogues, Schaeffer and his Rogues, Jupiter and her Rogues, Circe and her Rogues, Faye Lau... I mean, it"s just more of the same over and over again, and when we finally get to a major character that could be a good opportunity to progress the plot, we get a few lines of dialogues and that person dies, adding almost nothing to the storyline.

President Ellis, lol, we've been chasing that guy around for a while now, man just drops dead off-screen and it had 0 impact on me, nor did Lau's death tbh. Everything is just becoming more and more meaningless.

As for Lau's defection, the "reasons" she gives are just generic stuff we've heard from Black Tusk before. So that too was pretty much pointless.

It's still one hell of a game, I have a lot of hours on it so can't complain there. The issue I have is that excluding the RAID, since WONY, there's been a huge gap between what they're trying to sell us as content and how much time, care and dedication is actually put into it. The apparel event is a good exemple of how they operate and market their content and they've been abusing that formula for atoo long.
They didn't even bother making the mission different.. It was exactly the same as a normal camp white oak mission, the only change they made was adding some more drones/turrets and those SHD boxes that spawn stuff.. They literally took the camp white oak mission and just copy pasted faye into it.. She had 0 gameplay mechanics or anything, she was pretty much just as your average npc running around into cover and shooting you.. That's it.

No cutscene or anything after it, nothing..

If Ubisoft doesn't move the entire division IP to another studio that will actually care in the slightest, then i will simply not even bother buying a Division 3 or anything if it comes out.. Because frankly, i'm just completely done with this franchise as long as massive is behind it.. Division 2 isn't a bad game, it's just the devs that don't seem to give a ****.. When is the last time they even did a state of the game? Or any communication regarding the game itself outside of the recent patch that made the game unplayable for a lot of players...

Heck, even the cancelled nightmare event that turned into a ****ty apparel event was getting on my nerves... They literally made 7 pants in that event that were all the same base model where as the only difference was color, i don't even understand how capcom (Aside of money) let massive take a dump on resident evil with these ****ty outfits (Outside of hunk outfit). I thought the devs said they had special/unqiue looking stuff for that event, some generic police outfits aren't exactly special/unique..

And don't get me started about the same bugs that are STILL in the game since LAUNCH...

If anyone were to ask me if would recommend Division 2, i would answer with 'Absolutely no'...

I'm beyond tired of this crap.

Was that it........... OMG, UbiCrap/Mahoosive have certainly outdone themselves this time with this Manhunt.

After having the load in hassles - not able to connect at all via Ubisoft Connect (the names a joke). I spent a couple of hours running through the entire Manhunt and thought 'Has anything changed in each area?' ... answering No to that each time. The bounties were simply boring, and even the final mission was cut/paste using other things from the odd previous content - nothing new at all.

Zero cutscenes at the end made me feel that I had wasted my time doing the entire manhunt.

We know the Devs will blame Covid-19 and the lockdowns and the inability to work at the office etc..... but for me, it shows they haven't got a clue anymore.

If I was LucasFilms Games, I'd be looking at how I can get rid of Massive/Ubisoft after seeing what they have created on this manhunt ....

Well I guess I'll be moving on to Cyberpunk 2077 when I'm finished with the manhunt. Disappointing Massive.....Massively Disappointed.

i won't even comment on the plot, but man my last segment was a choppy stuttering mess, literally entered the arena game froze for 20 seconds and then immediatly more extra 20 seconds. i know it was exactly that because i saw the mission timer , not fun at all

    I'll do you one better:

I just fear that Massive is going to take this same halfa**ed approach to these new games they're working on. Everything I've seen out of massive over the years, from Division 1 to today, has been sloppy, lazy, unfocused, and of a nature where they chase trends instead of setting them.

This WILL carry over into Star Wars and Avatar. And while I have no doubt that they'll make some good intial sales based on name-recognition of the titles alone....the long-term quality of those games is going to be just as weak and sloppy as both Division titles.

Well, the end of this manhunt looks like TD1' ending:
    A damn cliffhanger.

So please, don't start a new manhunt like nothing happened, Massive!

Faye Lau IS DEAD! POTUS IS DEAD!
There are no leaders on both sides.
Expecting some big story improvements on next season imo.

(In my dreams, Season 5: Choose your side: Rogue/SHD)

I'm still sad calling Faye Lau a bit*** after hearing her Intels (spoiler alert: her reasons were good imo).

    RIP Faye Lau:

At the end it says to go back to the base of operations to regroup. This is where year 3 will start.
