this. loved wildlands went through the beta and bought it when first released. but after playing breakpoint i cant go back. breakpoint mechanics are way better then wildlands, graphics, animations, models.Originally Posted by Virtual-Chris Go to original post
the ONLY thing wildlands has over breakpoint is story and setting, period. breakpoint out shines wildlands in every other department. the gameplay, player movements and shooting in wildlands also feels clunky and off.
just from these changes alone, breakpoint gameplay is better then wildlands. you can actually hide in bushes, tall grass, vegetation.
you wanna play a fun 3rd person shooter that focuses more on gameplay then story with mild tactical and Ai player control then play breakpoint.
if you wanna sit through a game that feels like a movie then play wildlands.

Great post, and good on you for giving them credit for their continued efforts to improve the game's quality. Many others here have given them suggestions as well, and it's nice when the take our input into account. I only wish this had been the case prior to launch. Perhaps we can be hopeful for that with the next game, if there is one. Best regards.
Opinions differ on that claim ...Originally Posted by Fparis2021 Go to original post

I respect your opinion, but your opinion sucks. #ContradictoryButTrue #SorryNotSorryOriginally Posted by Fparis2021 Go to original post

Better visibility than most Wolf outfits.Originally Posted by MikeWeeks Go to original post
Haha. Yours and those above pointing out lack of detail have a point of course but I actually agree with him and Chris with the caveat that it's the player, mechanics and options only that are better.Originally Posted by MikeWeeks Go to original post
Wildlands has the story and world elements nailed. Breakpoint has the mechanics, player animations (aside the pistol jog/walk and Erowhon movement), gunplay, sound (of explosions and guns, not AI being heard from hundreds of metres away) and gameplay/HUD options. Put Breakpoint mechanics in Wildlands story and world and you then have a wonderful game; not a GR game but a great game.
I prefer the camera in BP too so much so that going back to WL, it feels so arcade now.
But back on OP, yes Ubi has learned a little from the chais at launched, listened to our feedback and implemented better things to make this game a lot better. Just being able to turn off gear score and drones has massively improved it IMO.
Edit: oh and I forgot I really enjoy the non-guided mode too although it could be a lot better to disguise where the location is. I really enjoyed the clues for Hill and I think there was a mission with 1 if the scientists about sabotaging 3 buildings where it said about a building only having blue lights at night. That's the sort of clues it should always be.
I would buy that lampOriginally Posted by MikeWeeks Go to original post
