    Worth coming back?

Stopped playing short after warlords of new york. Read about the skyscraper mode but also that it becomes repetitive very fast.

What it the current state of the game?

If you didn't feel drawn to the game then, it is not likely you will feel differently now.

I disagree, I feel there's more builds that fit my playstyle than there used to be back at TU8.

The Summit is repetitive, but it kind of grew on me.

well plot wise the game is to reach it's finale (until they make something new), so if you are interested in that now it's the time

Build diversity is greater than ever before. There are so many different and new exotics and sets and brands that you really can build to play however you want.

Lots of bugs in the game still. Currently there's a fairly large issue where a lot of people are crashing to desktop on the PC version after only 5-10 minutes. If you're on Console it's not an issue however.

Next Gen consoles got a 60fps upgrade, causing the game to look and feel almost like a new game. YMMV.

Currently there is an apparel event going on as a Crossover with Resident Evil. If you're going to get back in the game, you'll be able to start collecting those instantly.

There's also a season and global events going on as we speak. "Zombies" that get back up after you kill them unless you finish with a headshot. As well as a speedrun league going currently as well(only a couple days left on that tho).

2nd raid was finally released, if you're into that sort of thing.

Exotic loot was changed to be more reasonable. Many of the items that used to only drop in 1 mission are now in the general loot pool.

We got an inventory upgrade to 150 max items. Stash is still 300.

    And of course....there's the Summit.

Oh...and PVP is still a steaming garbage trainwreck on fire. Bugs, hackers, and zero attempts at maintaining any kind of balance or fairness. Play at your own risk.

Overall the game would be downright amazing right now if not for literally every aspect fraying at the edges with constant bugs.

    Find a different time sink.

The game is marginally better. For people that have been playing up to and beyond your point of departure, the game offers a few more gear pieces and "build diversity" what ever that means.

If you are going to rely on matching to get stuff done, go find another game. If you have friends who are active you can gear up quickly, experience the new stuff. But the back drop is still the same settings you grew tired of.

The same poop is floating around the toilet bowel, the "influencers" that had the ability to "flush" and clean up/improve are gone or don't care to flush. Maybe the handle to flush is missing- regardless if you can overlook the "smell" and enjoy the art you can find decent game play.

If you play the game literally- a check list of things to do in a project to get a lame reward for time invested- stay away. If the game is more a canvas where you immerse your self and complete missions and so on- give it a try.

If you have the game, why not just try it and see if you like it? Asking here for advice on something that is personal taste probably won't give you the answer you are looking for, unless your question is very specific.

E.G. Is this game fun to load up and play some casual PVP?

The only thing we know about you now is that you don't like repetition, and quit frankly that is what end game in this game basically is. So if you're asking if they added a multitude of new things to do then the answer is no. But build diversity is on an all time high, and the revamped Global Events receive a lot of praise.

Conclusion: Try it yourself and let us know if you like it.

    Season Passes

So....I am a huge fan of the Division/Division 2. I thought that purchasing the season passes would add some "spice" to the game play. I bought Warlords of New York, which I enjoy, so then I heard about season 4. Thought that season 4 would add some more "spice" to the game play. I thought that purchasing these season passes would add new story plots, new weapons/armors for purchasing them. I had no idea that the passes only allowed you to play in the "events". I liked playing the added story plots for Conley College, the Amusement Park, the Zoo, the hunting of the President...but none of that is no longer available. What the heck! Shouldn't story plots be ALWAYS available like Warlords of New York? I can't even play the Conley College, Amusement Park, the Zoo or the hunting of the ****** bag President because it is only available at certain times. I don't really play with other players and prefer to play solo (i get to play it the way I want to play and not by someone else's). I work and have a child to raise, so when I do get to play, I shouldn't have to wait for something to become available because most of the time I am working. If I purchase the passes, I would very much appreciate it if all the DLC would be available anytime, since I am paying hard earned cash for each.

Just a little venting. I really enjoy the game otherwise. Huge fan of Ubisoft.

Gave the game a fair second try and decided to uninstall again.

First, the game crashed on the loading screen. After reloading the game froze multiple times during gameplay for seconds (something I did not have before, have dx11 on and frames locked to 60, altogether same settiungs as before the break). Hist were not recognized, was standing 5 m away from an enemy, aimed (right mouse) and unloaded the mag into him with my high stability weapon. nothing happened except he killed me with his shotgun.

took a break and started the game a second time one day later

this time the game did not crash but the freezes were stil there. Its no fun if you are frozen for seconds during a firefight.
So I decided to uninstall the game again, this time for good.

Hope that you dont have these issues and can enjoy the game. have fun.
