I've finally bitten the bullet and got a new Android phone (a Samsung Galaxy A12, to be precise).
My major concern when switching phones has been transferring all my data across - and Rebellion is no different. I've put quite a bit of effort into the game, and I'd really rather not lose it all... again.
So... without using Facebook, will I be able to move my save data from my old phone to the new one and have it still work?
I wrote the same message on the Official Discord channel, when they reply, I'll forward it to you here My Friend.I hope you solve this problem
I also posted a thread for you in the ACR Reddit forum:

I'm sorry but at the time there isn't any other way to transfer a saved game on Android to another device if it hasn't been linked to Facbook. I know it seems bothersome but it might help to make a false account only for gaming so you can easily transfer the game on multiple devices. Also if anything happens and you require to uninstall the game for any reason, your data will be lost.
You can always try to reach out to the Support team but I don't think you can transfer the game without linking it
Dear Khaleesi, Thank you very much for your very valuable and useful answerOriginally Posted by Khaleesi7642 Go to original post
As you said, the only way to do this is to open a Facebook account and transfer information from the old device to the new device in this way.
So the problem is that if you link to FB, You can not (or so it has been reported) unlink from FB.
UBI promised 5 months ago that they were working on an Android solution at the time they announced that they launched a iPhone solution.
If you ever linked your account to FB you will loose all progress if you try to link to the iPhone or proposed Android solution.
This is a summary of things reported in other links about this issue. Don't know if this is true but it is based on answers from Bunny.
This has been a known issue since before the game was in pre-launch beta. Only about 50 months since it was first reported on the forum. And has been said to be taken to development by almost every forum moderator since the forum was opened.
I don't honestly expect it will ever be solved. They fixed it for iPeople, but us second rate Androids don't count... I guess.
