    Belstone+M60E6 build

Anyone have any ideas on how to make a good build using that combo?

So far, im working on 1, maybe 2 pieces Belstone, 1 Petrov, 3 Gila Guard. Where I dont have +Armor +Armor Regen, ive got Crit/Crit dmg.

What is your ultimate goal? Survivability? Stand up front and tank?

2 pc belstone makes sense. 10% armor on kill is nice to have combined with gunner, that jumps to 20% - which is what i use on many of my builds. Then the 1% armor regen helps a fully stacked memento to heal yourself even more efficiently.

But as much as i love the gila brand, using more than 1 piece is a waste - some people would say using even a single gila piece is a waste because 5% armor is nothing - which might be true.

I would definitely use memento if you are aiming to play solo most of the time, because at the moment it's probably best in slot item for solo players who prefer to do the job with their guns rather than their skills.
If you really into the 10% extra lmg damage, then contractor's gloves for the 8% damage to armor. Fox's prayer (named kneepads) is better overall, but with lmg's it makes sense to stick to contractors.
If you are low on crit, then the 3rd piece should be ceska and the final one groupo for the crit damage.

Swap out groupo or ceska for gila for more tankiness (~1,5mil armor), heroic is easy but you might struggle a bit with elites until you collect enough trophies.

Also not sure how bad is the stability on the M60.... you may wanna use weapon handling on some of your gear. I only ever used MG5 which was stable enough for me.

Where does one farm for Memento or under what brand? I have some of the above mentioned although a bit weak @ 980 k armor. I play challenging solo so it has its moments. No contractors but I have Foxs prayer. I am early or low SHD @ levl 80. Early stage building & looking for ideas. No contractors & my M5 or any LMG is a bit weak. Now I use a Bakers dozen, Capacitor or Police M4. Also thought of a Shotgun & SMG but shotgun is a little weak.

Memento is an exotic backpack and can be farmed anywhere where backpack is a targeted loot - although with a low chance of getting it.
Shotguns are underperfoming, except the exotic Scorpio (current season lvl 55 reward), and lmg's were always a hit and miss for me but i had more success with them.

Fox's prayer you should stick to if you plan to use anything other than lmg's. Despite using an AR or SMG, the 8% damage to targets out of cover worth still keep using it.
SMG's are mainly for builds that require an aggressive playstyle which needs you to be always close to the enemy - about 10 meters.

On challenging difficulty you can get away with stacking more armor - or even go full defensively and still do well in solo. But for groups you want to run about 3 red 3 blue core attributes because the enemies become too strong health-wise. Or even just go 6 red cores, and learn to play smart, let your teammates run forward (they like to because they think its a race) and pick off enemies from the backline.

That is a good to know about group play just in case. Tried it once & was not the best fit & yeah they raced. I'll try for a Memento in the summit. I have an ok Scorpio & although I was not trying for a shotgun build I am near that avenue. Besides those in your face moments can be testy.

If you're looking to be tanky and put out decent damage run and gun style try:

Belstone Chest w/ Intimidate - Armor Core with Crit chance and crit damage

Hunter's Fury Mask, Gloves, Knees, Holster - All Weap Dmg Cores with Crit chance and Crit damage

    Memento Backpack

Stack crit chance mods till you get to 60% then stack crit damage

For Weapons you can run Lady Death + The Mop (named shotty with 10% armor on kill) and melt faces. Only downside of LD is small clip size. I'm currently running mine with a Vector w/ Close and Personal talent and I rolled Damage to Target out of Cover as 3rd attribute and a Scorpio. Once I get my hands on a Dark Winter I will be using that instead.

You also have other options. You can use a Belstone backpack with Adrenaline Rush until you get Memento. It's perfect for running and gunning in Summit. I've seen some people use Bloodsucker as well.
You can switch the Belstone chest for a HF chest and go with the Death Grips gloves for another 10% armor on kill. Or run Contractor gloves. Or switch knee pads for Fox's Prayer.
