How do I get a refund?

    Hello,

Purchased the game while it was on sale, hit level cap and am now getting destroyed by hackers.

Since Ubi isn't doing anything about the hackers, how do i get a refund?

    THanks,
    probad

    I guess you can't.
Especially after you played a certain amount of time. Support will just say gtfo, you finished the game and now you want your money back. At least that's how it will look like

Okay, I get that, but when purchased, I had no idea that ubisoft didn't care that players were hacking. Now that I'm level capped, I see that there are LITERALLY hackers in every single DZ. It's stupid. It ruins the game. I would like a refund, or proof that Ubisoft is actually doing something to stop the hacking.

I just watched a video and you can EASILY google hacks for the game and the first 3 sites that come up a 6 year old could navigate and download the hacks.

Why wouldnt ubisoft just cease and desist the websites???? they clearly go against ToA... would be extremely easy to legally shut them the F*ck down.

Which version did you buy? The base version for $5? If so, then you might want to seriously consider that your time is worth more than the headache of fighting with customer service.

Even the $30 version probably isn't worth that hassle.

A credit card chargeback, on the other hand, is no hassle at all and makes a statement.

really dude? you want a refund the whole game because of one aspect of it? wow

and here's a thought, how do you know they are hacking? i mean it should be pretty obvious but how did you know? and really? every single dz? i doubt that.

if you see someone who is obviously using hacks than you should report them. even tho from what i've heard they won't do anything about it, you should at least try.

Just be aware that if you go this route, you will not be able to use that credit card for future purchases from Ubisoft. That entire account will be burnt as far as Ubi is concerned.

A chargeback should only be used as a last resort, and DEFINITELY isn't worth a $30 game to do.

By this logic, I would be able to refund every game I ever bought. I think this is a clear case of entitlement. The developers deserve to be paid.

And anyone that bought this game mainly for PvP did not due their pre-purchase diligence, because it is no secret that PvP is not this game's strongest point.

I don't know what kind of statement you think it makes, but charge backs, you don't just call your CC company and tell them to remove the charge for something you bought, and that's that.
