Congratulations. You outdone yourself Ubi. Played through the story of the Div2 Expansion, and the end game -I wont spoil the awesome laugh to anyone here-, you just outdone my lowest low expectations. Keener is one thing but what comes after the end its the most illogical and MOST IMPORTANTLY unmanageable thing what that particular character achieved ALL OVER THE DIVISION GAMES +WITHOUT US NOTICING... the most stupid thing ever in making a story.
If you wanted to troll your players AGAIN like as I experienced you liked to do in the past games... well you out-trolled yourself. Congratulations.
But hey, just keep giving me games worth of 5EURos, I'm okay with that. If you like loosing money with the development and stuff, just go on continue on the path of me laughing on the whole brand what Division is currently.
I would rather see some quality AAA games though finally after like... what... 5-8 years what UBI released?
If youre happy with my 5EURos -thats how much I'm willing to pay for your trash Category Zed games- go ahead, continue...
I feel sorry for the wasted talents of working for you Ubisoft. The workers creating the art, the design, the music, the voices... All wasted on a very low quality game in general. So this is what making me furious and sad at the same time.

I think you got the story confused.Originally Posted by H0PE_Zer0 Go to original post
Keener wasn't the Mastermind.
And all Rogue Agents weren't under Keener.
Keener was more of a Concierge to Evil.
He found groups that hated Division and he helped them, and they helped him but they stayed separate and independent.
More importantly, Keener is just a pawn in a bigger game.
Always funny how people try to justify a terrible story.
Trying to write without spoiling stuff...
-There were not a doubt that _that person_ ever would never turn to rogue.
-There were never a hijacked communication that gave us the impression that Keener is not the mastermine, ever.
-That person had to work with Aaron Since the beginning, or else this is ********, since _that person_ was always trying to act as a white knight.
-That person constantly under the radar, never leaves the sight, never goes _away_ to have some me time, etc where we could say "well okay, _THAT PERSON_ would maybe go and talk to Aaron here and there, etc.
-This is exactly the same crap like in WoW how Silvanas Killed millions of souls and people trying to justify the act itself with higher purpose/goals. Dude you were acting like Hitler. Don't try to justify that.
-In this case, there were not one hint that SOMEONE ELSE PULLING THE LINES OTHER THAN KEENER. If at least we would get some fishy hijacked messages that Keener communicating with someone MAYBE this would fly.
-But this story trying to change the story WHAT ALREADY HAPPENED.
The whole stories is just terrible.
Anyways, I've expected a better MUCH better game from Div 2, Div 1 was so different, so much better, so much deeper. Sure its just an opinion but we can compare the two games on many aspects.
The ugly faces in Div 2 Ugh!... Always gives me the shivers, and they don't even talk when they talk, they just pantomime or something, ehh... Sorry off topic...
I'm not seeing anything deeper in TD1, but I am someone who finds playing TD1 less fun than TD2..
TD1 is only superior in atmosphere [thanks to the weather, and more pedestrians]. Story is the same. Keener is tangential to a larger push for control - they have the same end game - the downfall of the Division, while gaining power in the the post-$Flu future. They reached that perspective from orthogonal paths. Clearly, you value Keeners path toward that aim more intriguing, plus there was more mystery surrounding the $Flu, while TD2 has pivoted to the aftermath and acceptance of what occured, and the next phase of the Castles game [while glossing over the extremely poor handling of the situation in NYC].
This is a Tom Clancy game. There is a larger, shadowy cabal of wealthy/powerful people conspiring against the Division [Black Tusk puppet masters, maybe others]. Keener was working toward the same goal. "Co-Conspirstor #1" could be of two minds, an "undercover double agent" [still a "good guy"] or another in the long list of folks convinced the Division wouldn't be able to win long term [officially a "bad guy"]. Hell, maybe some blend [wants to be good, but needs to be bad to "right a wrong" in their mind].
Guess it depends which leak/twist you prefer - but the story isn't over, so judging it seems premature![]()
I think most people felt like Fay Lau's betrayal made little sense...but it's not our story to write, and its not done.
I always find it humorous when people trash on "stories", like they could do better but have never written a damned thing themselves. It's so very easy to criticize someone else's story.
If you are playing a game for something other than "the gameplay", it's for the wrong reasons in my opinion. There are plenty of exceptions though. If you spent $5 thinking you were going to get a masterful story...I just have to facepalm and laugh at you.
Just to add..we can all see your apparent writing ability in your posts, and it's clear you wouldn't be capable of writing anything good yourself. And what is with the spoiler concern? WoNY has been out a year...
If you haven't played the game yet and are concerned about spoilers...they shouldn't be reading story related threads on the forums. Apparently common sense is also not a strong suit of yours.
