Controller disconnections during combat on Xbox 1 X

I have now changed controllers 3 times and have made sure all controller software is updated, but the problem remains. I am using a wired controller, the issue is this during combat the controller disconnects always at the worst time, it only happens during combat anytime else no problems. This does not happen in any other game I play only in Division 2. Is there a glitch in the game?

Maybe the usb port is loose? Or the cables aren't connected securely? Or the cables are going bad? I suggest this as, often, when combat gets hairy we naturally start to jump around as we are playing and most of the time we wouldn't notice that we are doing it.
Anyone have any other thoughts or ideas?

Drastic but maybe a fresh install of the game, if you do don't forget to delete any lingering save games and clear the persistent storage, hard re-boot and take the power cable out for 15 seconds.

    Turn on and re-install.

p.s You will not lose any progress, the only thing it will reset is your game settings.
