I started play with this Directive for my quest up the summit to obtain the Ridgeway.
.
Each time I use this directive I have this issue. It is consistent with all my toons and all my builds so I believe the issue may lie with my understanding.
.
As my armor breaks it adds the effect of limited max armor. In order to remove the effect you must use an armor kit. The problem for me is I use an armor kit and nothing happens.
.
I have a video of my toon with 3 broken limits on the armor bar, I use 3 armor kits but nothing changes and the armor kits are gone like they were applied.
.
The only way I can get any change to the condition to the armor bar is to return to DC and return.
.
I have a video link below but I have not done this before so not sure it works.
.
Thanks

Check your directives. There's one I think that in order to heal you need to pick up green drops from the npcs. Sorry I don't use that directive much so I'm limited on info.
Look at the bottom right of your screen, those icons to the right of the word Summit are your directives.
Also, each time you go to the elevator you can change your directives.
Yes, this happens, not always, but with some frequency, it can only be a bug, after all you can use as many healing items as you have, which will not recover anything, unless you die and come back from the beginning of the floor (if you are playing alone) or need to use the resurrection hive (if this is one of your skills) or be resurrected by someone who is playing with you, then everything goes back to normal.Originally Posted by Da-TramaLLama Go to original post
I just got hit by this bug in a DCD Challenging mission as well. I have one stack of Broken, and when I used an armor repair kit it fixed my armor, but did not remove the stack. I tried again now that I was at full (minus the stack of Broken) armor, and it did nothing but use an armor kit. I immediately tried a third time, still at full (minus the stack of Broken) and it still didn't work.
I did manage to find a workaround: once I'd hit the next checkpoint I fast-travelled back to the White House, which removed the stack of Broken, and then fast-travelled back to the mission. But it would be nice to get thix fixed, especially since on the higher difficulty levels the workaround may not be available for some time (due to lack of checkpoints) when playing solo.
Ooof. Sounds like a sort of Heisenbug, then.
Sadly, it appears that this isn't going to happen for me. OBS captures audio just fine, but refuses to capture anything but a black screen for video, despite twenty minutes now of fricking around with it and trying a half dozen different solutions proposed on the Internet.Originally Posted by Ubi-Lucipus Go to original post
Perhaps you guys want to try instrumenting that part of the game to capture some relevant state and send it to the developers when the Broken stack is one or larger and doesn't reduce after an armor repair.
It happens in regular mission also. Not sure what the directive is but it seems to be linked to the one that counts how many times you have used a armor kit - when the player has a number by his name - you use an armor kit and it does nothing. I think i was also out of battle when it happened.
Maybe you should just turn it off / swap for another one then?Originally Posted by Ubi-Lucipus Go to original post
