So wait... you made a veiled insult, then demand respect? GTFO. I'll respect different points of view when they're based on reality and logic, not wild claims with no proof based on imagination. You can believe whatever you want. You can't demand respect, especially when you can't even provide a scrap of evidence.

Latency is a known quantity of the internet. Sometimes the server side hiccups under high-traffic. Sometimes your ISP will be experiencing technical difficulties. Sometimes literal sharks are biting the damn cables under the ocean.

But something that there is zero evidence of is a belief that the devs have programmed the game to randomly increase damage only against certain players, despite the FACT that a community manage has checked these claims and reported that no server changes have been made to NPC damage.

So where does that leave us?

Way to leap to a conclusion that's false. Where did I say that damage spikes don't happen? I simply agreed that they're more likely to be explained by latency spikes, not by angry devs seeking to crap on random players.

I have a GOOD habit of basing my opinions on as factual of information and logical reasoning as I can manage. I have a BAD habit of engaging with people who think their opinions should carry weight based on nothing more than "I saw a thing that I didn't like and so it must be the evil devs pooping on me specifically".

If you can't tell the difference, then too bad.

I also have a bad habit of not giving a crap if people get angry when I point out their sh*tty logic.

YOU opened with a veiled insult! You don't get to act indignant about someone not respecting you afterwords. FFS.

And yet that's EXACTLY what you set out to do with your first post to me. Jesus Christ, you can't be this oblivious!

No, actually we're not obligated to do anything of the sort, especially when your first reply to me implied insults and misrepresented my points from an entirely different thread!

Oh yes....attempting to take the high road now after spending an entire page of posting being a massive hypocrite? That's gonna work REAL well.

If you're tired of the subject, STOP BRINGING IT UP and then never providing even a shred of evidence. (which you STILL haven't done, btw)

You might also strongly consider not poking a bear if you don't want to get roared at.

I just chalk it up to NPCs landing crit/head shots and the NPC's behavior coding hitting certain ifs and whens.

Lately I think there's more server lag. I can be running and all of a sudden I stop, then start moving again. It's like I lift my finger off the W button, but I didn't.

As for npcs, I don't have a problem with high damage. Play smart, know when to break away from a fight and your good.

I find that 2 days out of the week the npcs are a bit easier. Saturday and Sunday mornings. The npcs go out on the town Friday and Saturday night, the next morning they have a hangover and that makes for an easy win. Now come Monday watch out, npcs want revenge lol

I am not sure what if the issue is or maybe it’s nothing. I play my world on Heroic with 4 directives. I always start each session in the same spot (West Mall safe house). I run the orange crates (4) from the boat to the bridge at Roosevelt Island. I use it as a test. There are days the NCP’ s are so thick and hit so hard I can hardly survive getting to the second crate near the secret garden behind the block house. I can stop, reboot my machine and run the exact same path an not encounter but a few random weak NPC’s.
I do the same thing with Lincoln Memorial once a day. If the game is the same then the runs should be the same everytime. There not and it gets really whacked when it’s invaded. It also seems worse the first few hours after maintenance. I have seen 3 identical boss chonga’s come out of the block house in the back of the memorial. It was like everything triplicated.
I like to think the codes are so complex that even the code suffers from RNG. How often do you see 2 chonga’s on the side yard of the Memorial? It’s rare but I have seen it.
Yes I’m a crazy old Timer not a young whipper snapper so it’s ok to call me whacked my feelings won’t be hurt I don’t so won’t get offended.

No lag here, just random enemies suddenly dropping all my armour and 99% of my life.

I sometimes say that they all must arrive on a big bus, they seem to be every where, other times there out of town still and the place is deserted.

    PC playere here,

PvP is impossible to play for unless using shields cause using cover is impossible because of the 1 - 2 second server delay and people can still see you stand while you are behind cover,
AI are currently constantly shooting me around walls even when i have taken cover...

sounds to me like ubisoft is just cutting budget and server maintenance, because Div 2 isn't earning much money anymore.
wish PvP was like consoles.... they seem to have it far more fair and fixed...

This is what I call Hunter damage, absurd damage, far above normal, takes shield, takes protection and takes 80% more health in less than 3 seconds (cut this time in half if you are not using a shield).

It just doesn’t take all the life away, thanks to the protection that the developers put on, preventing players from dying with a single shot or in the first attack of the NPCs.
