You’re rattling through them Simpledots.
Haven’t had much time to hit Hilltop anymore but I will.
Beginning to wish I had the KTM’s and/or Bandito, but I still need 7 to 9 blueprints for each one so might never get them if the game finishes in a year.
I have a whole heap of tracks to unlock yet too.
Keep up the progress.
EVO
Oh yeah, EVO I’ve been trying to burn through ‘em as quick as I can in case the game completely ends this year.
Keep grinding and you’ll get the hilltop tackled.
The KTM and Bandito are nice bikes. The Bandito takes a bit longer to get used to than the KTM imo. I like the older bikes more than these newer ones, but most of the tracks need them in order to break into the top 100 nowadays.

After Cannon End, I moved left one spot and finally pushed through Spinner’s Alley. It’s another track I’ve attempted to improve my time on for a really long time. It’s a fun track to ride, but I just couldn’t move up any higher than the 101 spot I was sitting at until tonight. 😀
Similar to the last two tracks I posted about, this is another track I can usually get off to a great start on. All of my runs have blown up coming down the 4th checkpoint and off that barrel blast ramp to the 5th checkpoint. I just couldn’t get my bike over that roof peak to land smoothly on the way up the half pipe to the small spinning wheel. Every now and then, I’d get a decent stumbling pass over that roof peak and would completely miss the raised small ramp in the center or bite it coming off the that raised ramp up to the finish line. It was another tough sequence for me to hit there at the end.
I finally got a great jump off that barrel blast ramp that took me all the way over the peak of the roof using a wheelie going into the blast. Fortunately, I didn’t bite it at the other traps that ended so many of my other runs.
I didn’t have my cleanest start to the track, so I wonder where I would have finished with a cleaner front section... I’m still very happy with where I finished as I went all the way up to 46. That one feels very good after all the attempts I’ve had over the years racing that track!
Onto the next one.

Best way to improve in this game is by setting goals. I had as a goal all tracks platinum. When i achieved that i went off to doing all tracks Platinum with Donkey. After a long while if grinding and practicing I ended up with only a few Tracks not completed. So i set a new goal, as those where hard. Leaderboard pushing on donkey mainly. First top 100 Donkey, then top 50 and later Top 30. I gained enough skill that way to finish off the rest of my tracks platinum... except for Happy Fling. That map is a insanity to plat on Donkey. I think currently you can count the amount of plats on the track with ur hand. My pb there is a 20:065... gave up after that, its a top 12 rn. See this as inspiration to continue grinding ur goals away, even if the game is ending, there is still loads of stuff doable. For me the road ends here, i think i have had enough of the game. One of my most ambitous goals where always a wr but #3 on a donkey map was the best i could do. I bet its now not #3 anymore. People had it so easy when the game first came out. :/
I totally understand what you mean. I decided to give this track a go, got a top 200 run relatively quickly, besting my pb but getting the ramp with the explosion to work is really hard and inconsistent. A wheelie does the trick but those are hard to balance there and the jump after isnt easy either, so when you do make it its easy to waste some time laterOriginally Posted by Simpledots Go to original post
For sure Stefan2499, it was a tough track to crack top 100 for me. I’ve played that track for a long time trying to better my time. Good luck if you’re continuing to grind away on it. That wheelie off the barrel blast ramp was tricky, but it’s the only thing I could do to get over that roof peak. Probably more luck involved with me hitting it on that run than anything else, but I’ll take it. 😉Originally Posted by Stefan2499 Go to original post
I’ve been grinding away on the Mill now since yesterday with hopes of bettering my 101 rank. The closest I came to beating my current time was .033, everything else has been well away from that. The falling board at the end of the giant spinning wheel trips me up more than anything else on the track with the climb up the steep wall to the raised ramp just before the finish line being the second hurdle that takes me out. I’ll need to lock those two parts of the track up if I’m going to best my 101 rank. This is a frustrating track for me and another one that I’ve played a lot over the years.
The grind continues on the Mill for now before tackle the next one...

I finally took down the Mill. It was a frustrating grind as I just wasn’t making any progress until that last run. That falling board and steep climb was my undoing time and again. I went from 101 to 68 a few minutes ago.
Onto the next one.

Nice one, thats the spirit. What will be ur next tracks to grind?Originally Posted by Simpledots Go to original post

The board is annoying i give you that, too fast ur caught, too slow ...well its obvious, and the steep climb took me also a while to figure out, but i found a pretty consistent start for that one a while ago. Never lean back when in air. When u hit the slope, keep leaning forward and it should work. Thats how I did my times on that track
Nice work, that’s awesome! Kudos for shooting that far up the rankings. Where did you start the climb from?Originally Posted by Stefan2499 Go to original post
I may give it another whirl, but I’m still pleased with where I finally finished.
I believe I’m moving over to the Great Wall, I need to improve from 181... the wheelie jump there at the end to the finish line has been my undoing so far.
i dont know for sure, around 500-250 but could be worse. I have mainly pushed donkey leaderboards but want to do normal bikes too.
Great Wall rn 569, lets see if i can do a top 100 there.
Edit: Now its 300
I feel like this one has a bigger time difference per player. I was surprised i beat my pb with that time.
Edit 2: 168 i think this one is easier
Edit 3: 114 im getting close. Its just the ending that slows me done now
Edit 4: 106 now its just bugging me, the part before the falling ramp always screws me
