Greetings Riders! Thank you all for reaching out regarding the ongoing issues in the game. The fix for the Bunker feature has been deployed and it should now be accessible in the game. The PvP seasons will follow the same seasonal structure and content as last year, giving you more opportunity to still grab those multiplayer rewards and seasonal items.

As you know, Trials Frontier has been live for almost seven years and the time has come for it to enter a new phase in its lifecycle. The game will no longer be fully supported, and this also marks the end of the Midnight Circuit and other Live Events. We will be sharing more information on the long-term plans for the game in the future. We’re grateful and humbled by your continuous support and making Trials Frontier something special!

I for one am happy they finally made an official statement on the game. I’m of course sad see this new lifecycle phase come though since I’ve come to enjoy this game more than anything else I’ve played before. It was a ton of fun while it was fully functional. It’s still fun for me to play the global map, so I’ll still grind out top 100 finishes while I’m able to.

I’ve been grinding away at the Beamery for a couple weeks and just finished 29th on the track a few minutes ago. That was a tough track to crack top 100 for me, that last wheelie jump to the finish line was brutal. I went from 416 to mid 200s today and then to 29 with my first clean wheelie jump... Feels good after all this time on that track. Onto the next one...

    All the best,

I’ve been grinding away a bit more since I blazed into the top 100 on The Beamery. I secured top 100 finishes on a few more tracks before trying to tackle Grease Transit again.

I’ve always loved that track, but have struggled with it more than others. The two steep walls are really difficult on that map. It’s hard to cut the corner on the first big wall at the second checkpoint without losing your momentum. The second steep wall jump up to the fourth checkpoint is equally tough for me. If I was lucky to make it past those two walls with a decent time, the last timing sequence to finish the track would always crush me.

I ranked 431 before grinding on the map a bit more today. I finally started chipping away on the track setting a few new records on my way to 155. I got in a groove and set a few more after racing PapaFrey’s ghost and finished 95 and one spot in front of him. It’s such a fun track, so I’m still trying to better my time. I’m at 82 now.

Also shout out to PapaFrey! His runs are so smooth and I really enjoy racing his ghosts.

    Nice work Simpledots,

I have a different level of skill than that, I aim for top 10k times and really struggle with that on some tracks.

I can’t even get a clean run on some tracks, Hilltop Ghetto is my Nemesis

I have recently started racing some of your ghosts, and have picked up a couple of shortcuts which I didn’t know about and have helped me no end. There are probably more towards the end of the tracks too, but your ghost is normally out of sight by then !!

    Keep Grinding.

    Thanks EVO!

That’s how I improved my times on the tracks. Started with a goal for a range. Then wanted clean runs, wanted all gold and then platinum. Just play and grind away.

Obviously, clean runs are the best/fastest way to improve your times. Hilltop Ghetto was a tough track for me as well.

I raced your ghost and you have a good approach off the platform and up the steep wall. You want to get your front tire higher off that next platform and your back tire to land higher and first on that semi circle transition. I do it by quickly leaning forward and slamming that back off the little jump and forward again before landing.

The double jump and barrel jumps after takes practice, but I’m just trying to bunny hop those off my back tire by leaning forward and backward off each base on the way up to the finish line.

    Good luck!

    Thanks for the tips Simpledots,

Down from 5 faults and 41 secs to 1 fault and 27secs. (and top 10k)

    I’ll keep at it.

Nice job EVO! I raced your ghost again. Looking good. Your jump off the platform to the 1st steep roof was better than before. When I got to the next steep wall with you, I just keep the throttle mashed down all the way up that wall without letting off until I’m soaring above, my momentum carries me with some lean to the start of that wicked climb to the finish.

I moved on for now from trying to better my time on Grease Transit and jumped over to try breaking into the top 100 on Girder Precinct.

I was able to improve my approach on the steep wall by grinding away at Grease Transit yesterday. More times than not, my run on Girder was completely wrecked somewhere between the jump off the 4th checkpoint to the mini ramp and onto the half circle transition before making that long jump to the 5th checkpoint. That’s a very tough sequence for me to completely nail.

The few times I was able to get it right, I’d be too excited and come into the big drop to the 6th checkpoint with way too much speed and my run would end there.

I went from 271 last night to the 150’s or so before cracking the top 100 someplace in the high 90s. I wanted to better that time, so I kept grinding away. I ran through some more attempts and climbed my way up to 49 just a little bit ago.

    Onto the next one!

I’ve been wrestling with the Chopping District over the last few days. It’s another track that’s given me a lot of trouble cracking into the top 100.

I really like the front of the track up to the downed log and can usually get off to a great start. However that back wheel jump off the downed log and onto the hanging log is absolutely brutal for me to make with any regularity at all. I started around 180 and started chipping away a little at my time 3 days ago when I put a good run together finishing at 117.

Those dang logs made the grind difficult, but I kept at it and finally cracked the top 100 at the end of the super bowl finishing at 84. I’m glad that track and those wretched logs are finally out of the way of my quest for top 100 finishes.

    Onto the next one.

I moved over to Cannon End today to improve a 224 rank. I’m able to get a decent start on this track and prefer spinning down that first wall to the second checkpoint and all the way up through the 4th checkpoint.

I started improving my time more on this track when I figured out I could pass up the wooden base that slides down the spinning wheels to catch that last wheel more with the bike. I was able to climb up to 161 and improved a couple more times to 141 and then 134.

The climb up that next section is tough for me to keep any consistent momentum up though and kicking off that mini ramp to the big stationary wooden wheel. I’d come through there with a decent time only to shoot over that wheel or not kicking off with enough angle to cleaning land. I kept at it and ended up hitting what I needed to move up into the top 100 and finish at 82.

    All the best!

    Onto the next one.
