The Day Before -What Division should've been

I've seen this game on youtube and i cannot stress this enough, The Division should have done that long time ago, not necessary hordes of zombies but the survival element.
From the trailer weather conditions and combat system isn't that good compared to the Division, despite that it looks promising.
    Thougts?

tbh it looks amazing , will be keeping a close eye on this, but as we all know we should not fall in to the hype with these game showcases as a lot of them in recent years haven't been what they've promised

While I am sure this game will do well because many still love the zombie apocalypse genre, I personally wouldn't have been interested had The Division been another one of those games.

Though the Division storyline is obviously way overblown from anything that could really happen, some of what is in the game became reality. I think that really underscores how solid the games storyline is. Hopefully we are done and nothing more from the game will become reality.

That said, I am not averse to an expansion that adds zombies into the game.

Indeed, this is looking very promising.

True, must be cautious of the hype. However, if by some miracle this game does deliver, it would be a reeeeeeal shame for TD:2, if us players pulled a "GameStop" with The Day Before, to show our frustration with UbiSoft not delivering with the original promises with Codename: Nightmare.

What grinds my gears about survival mode is that... THEY HAVE done this already, In the first Division game.

They have all the game-play design done, all they need to is to port the game mode into TD:2 engine. Hell... they can keep the original footage and NY location, it would still work.

The only reason why they do not do this, is that Survival Mode is the only thing most TD:1 player still log on to the game for. Take that away and there is no reason to go back to TD:1.

Just personal take, i really dislike games about managing multiple hunger, thirst and etc with crafting survivals stuff, just because it makes the game a paranoid unfun mess of trying to keep impossible stats always positive and a slog of having to triple check every supply.

Not saying that people can't like those, but that's not what i think with the division, yes i understand the meta scenario of the division should fit in better with this kind of gameplay over the weird looter shooter. But i went into division to get a looter shooter to make fun builds not loot soteres and craft 99 bandages. As someone mentioned above i don't think it's a bad idea to hardcore mode implement some of that stuff or a new version of survival

The game has not even come out, yet it is already what The Division should have been?

I am sure once the game comes out, and people start playing it, their forum will look very much like this one.

I'll use the same hashtag I use for COD...#lolzombies.....Over glorified zombie games are old news IMO. I certainly will not be playing this no matter how good it is. I do not like zombie games anymore.

    Thoughts?

NEVER trust presentation videos. Especially ones with badly scripted "players" creating fake situations.

I like the concept, but the execution has literally NEVER been pulled off well with these types of games. It'll probably end up being another arena/BR game full of bugs and poor balance. .
