Luring the enemy was one of the most spread military tactics since the Stone Age.

    From century to century.

The funny thing that this trick worked again and again.
Despite the fact that warriors and their commanders were well aware of it.

It's hard not to chase the retreating enemy.

But I was writing not about that.

    I was writing about this....

From games to games we witness such a phenomenon - enemies' attacking and chasing us area is very limited.
It doesn't mean that they should chase us somewhere deep in the forest or across the entire map.
At least they could enter the next room!

But it happens again and again!

There is always a blind zone for enemies.
Zone that can be used as cheating.

The less possibility for cheating - the better for the game.

    Developers should cut it off!
    Not in our game!

There should be no possibility for any kind of cheating, from easy money to blind zones.
As usual, in many games, there are tons of possibilities for cheating.

Developers should pull it out, one by one, like weeds.

How many times we were cheating ourselves because of AI stupidity or something else?!

    It shouldn't happen!

    FAIR PLAY!
    Fair game.

Cheating - is a game killer.
Allowing us to cheat developers themselves turn into the killers of their own game.

Developers themselves should play their game first.
    Do they like it?

To look and to try their own game as an outside perspective.
    As far as it possible.

    Testers are also important here.

It would and will be a spoiler if we haven't experienced it in advance.

Everything that is written in advance before we meet it in the game is a spoiler.

    EVERY THING.

May be I play Far Cry first time in my life and I don't know that there is crouching in the game, may be I don't know that there is stealth in the game.
Coming across this ability I'll be pleasantly surprised.
"Oh! One more ability! Something new..."

There will be written - Push a button. This or that.

After that moment there may be a loading screen with "use key for crouching".

    AFTER BUT NOT BEFORE!

Before - it will be a spoiler.
    After - it won't be a spoiler.

    This applies to any thing!

Any thing written before we meet it in the game is a spoiled surprise.
    Surprise-killer.

It's happening again and again in many games.
We've just started to play a game and....

Load screens are full of spoilers!

Spoilers about weapons, enemies, abilites and so on.
Even trailers are full of spoilers.

    Good game should avoid it.
Then by extension of what you said, you should not even be aware of the game's name, setting or anything. You should buy a game whose name is a series of letters or numbers and discover it yourself. If you re anti spoiler enough (which i m sure you are based on your record of comments) to consider that everything is a spoiler up to the point basic stuff like jumping/crouching, even camera moving are spoilers, then i don t see why you re there. You probably spoiled yourself far enough by learning about the game's setting, gameplay etc.

But i think it s foolish to try to debate over such thing, yet i m doing it. Which makes me the biggest foold.

    It doesn't make you fooled.

It's even strange that such simple thing as spoilers in load screen may cause some misunderstanding.

Information given in advance, in games, is a spoiler.
Information may be in video form, audio or in written form.

    It kills surprise.

    For instance....

    I've started a game.
I'm playing a bit and see a load screen - "For using parachute push X button".

First thought - "There will be parachutes in the game."

    Surprise spoiled, in advance.

What would be the reaction if I saw the parachute for the first time in the game?
    "Wow! A parachute!"

But when I know in advance that there will be parachutes in the game ....there will be no "Wow!".

So, when I play the game and see in the beginning a spoiler load screen with something like - "For using parachute push X button".
First wish is to say - "What a parachute?! What are you doing?! You're spoiling!"

And this happens from game to game.
    There are many such games.
You've started the game, taking two steps....and you know just everything about what to expect, from load screens. Prarachute, types of eneimes, hooks, planes...and so on.

    This shouldn't happen.

    As for Far Cry 6....

No matter what number is the game, 6 or 66, many people will play it first time.

Even those who had played all Far Cry games shouldn't see spoilers in the load screens.
There should be surprises for all.

In fact, I think that every Far Cry should be an autonomous self sufficient game.
People should have ability to play every its parts without losing nothing.

    "Far Cry"s should be different.

Each setting should dictate its own Far Cry.
    From general concept to particulars.

Being captured by a guerilla force while they're flying 2000 feet above me.

Being forced to run through a maze with a time limit.

Facing enemy AI with the "intelligence" of a slug. A dead one.

    Pointless arcade sequences.

    Undergoing drugged-out, trippy experiences.

Looking in one direction - vehicles present. Spin 360 degrees - no vehicles present.

Well, first, in short, I also think that kind of activities are outdated. There was one more thing I wanted to put in my original post, "Not going through nearly same activity again and again after being force-captured". I can't remember for sure but I guess one of those activities was exactly what you don't want, which was solving maze under time limit.

This one is like Far Cry series trademark so I don't think developers will take this one out. And I believe there are lots of people who don't want to see that element taken out from the game.
