Three things I wish Far Cry 6 won't have

    1. No force calling like in Far Cry 5.
Didn't like having to stand idle, wait for them to hit me and capture me. Made me feel silly. Fighting them back as long as I could gave me vanity; It was futile in my personal opinion.

    2. Perk/Skill points should be earned by experience and not by collecting certain items.
I, personally, like the old classic way of character progression; Gaining xp by doing missions, clearing locations, and killing enemies. Collecting certain items (magazines) to earn "extra" skill points would be amazing but if that's the only way or main way to earn skill points? Well, I find that unappealing. Not fun at all.

    3. Not "having to" replay outposts.
I believe outposts activity is what gives Far Cry series its charm. But being forced to replay them for obtaining crucial resources for progression, like in New Dawn, was not really thrilling. "Being able to" play outposts again, for extra rewards and such, would be nice but I'd rather have more outposts than "having" to play them again.

[Added later; I couldn't think of it before]

    4. When you ram a person straight on with your car, they don't just get pushed, they should actually be struck.
In Far Cry 5, I had to do those challenges like being forced to do something I don't want to and one of it was ramming enemies with your car. I did it with my small truck, big enough to shatter someone's bones, and was shocked to see the people I hit just gets pushed, slowly falls down eventually. They stand back up like nothing happened. Hahahaha. This should not be descended down to Far Cry 6.

*Edit: Things others suggested that I agree
    1. No re-use of take-down animations; New take-down moves would be nice.

I agree with your points. Even though i wouldn t mind one forced capture if it serves the plot.

Yet concerning the "more outposts", the general trend has been to reduce a lot their numbers since 3 so i d say it s unlikely that 6, even if it s bigger than 3, will have at least the same outpost number. Things is that outposts have turned more into "specific places" (scrapyard, church etc) rather than roadblocks with a few ennemies around like it was in 3/4.

The main things I hope not to see in FC6 are a heavy-handed focus on the makeshift weapons, continuation of the challenges for skill points system and another lame skill tree. Ubi's games have been getting lame skill trees for a while now...

Well, if it serves the plot, I guess I too am okay with one force capture. But I still stand on "Prefer no force capture". And thanks for your input. If that is the trend, well, I'm okay with same number of outposts. I just hope the number isn't equal to that of New Dawn. That only had 6, right?

    @HorTyS
Oh yea, If you get your xp and skill points from traditional ways then all the other sources become secondary. Which they should be, right? Forcing people to play different style for something necessary just seems buzz kill to me. Just put "extra" rewards on certain items or challenges, that would be fine. People would still find them enjoyable, as long as there is a definite, reasonable, main source for them.
Having more interesting skill would be nice too.

I guess it s a given. As i said in the wildlife of Yara topic, i even expect them to expand on the original idea proposed by FC3 but scrapped. But yeah sharks seem mandatory due to the tropical island setting.

Sharks? Why not. I'd like that. I'd like to hope some more, though.. Like, dangerous jelly fishes, even fictional starfishes, fictional crabs, what have you. I mean it's fictional island, sky is the limit.

I suppose they could have jellyfish as dynamic obstacles that need to be avoided while swimming. I think hostile star fish and crabs might be bordering on going a little overboard though, haha.

Not much to add there really. Screaming sloths falling claws first from branches would be a bad thing to include.. probably

This thread is about what we don't want to see in Far Cry 6.......I think that phrase from Far Cry 3 was important.
This, to some extent, expresses the philosophy of Far Cry.

We're killing people in Far Cry.
    People are dying.

    That's a tragedy!

We didn't start it ....but we have to answer.
    Inaction only encourages evil.

I think game should avoid non-lethality.
    Non-lethal weapons.

Especially non-lethal possibility to walkthrough the missions.

    This is a shooter.
We should enjoy shooting and explosions.

    Non-lethality will be immersion breaking.
It will give artificiality to the game.
It will deprive the game of a deep meaning.
