pistol sucks anyway , apart from changing to it to heal faster in some situations ,its useless as there is nothing you usualy do that benefits from it , apart from maybe a pistol /shield only build , and even in this case there are better options , liberty is king in this department.
Liberty is dead to me as long as weapon handling doesn't effect the idiotic recoil on it. And the Kard is the best non-exotic pistol. I'm currently using a non-named one with DPS attributes on it, but I would LOVE to have one for a Bulwark build. Technician + Memento + Kard = Tier 4 shield, and literally every other piece of gear can be DPS or Armor.

i hear this recoil complaint often and i dont really understand it , especialy coming from a PC player, the regular D50 kicks like a mule , sure , but the liberty has handling mods if im not mistaken , but even if im wrong the recoil is completly manageable and is nothing like the D50 , more, if you plan on doing bullwark and going in their face recoil is almost a non problem , when im 1 or 2 meters aways from them i dont even ADS as its faster to fire and all shots land.

this bullwark /pistol build i use only has 2 reds but hits for up to 10 million with headhunter , in a group where its harder to keep the HH going it still hits for almost 2 million on head crits , its the build i change to when the elevator opens and i hear:

    "ROGUE AGENTS DETECTED"

    never fails.

To me it doesn't matter how powerful the weapon is on paper. If it isn't smooth and enjoyable to use, it's going to perform like crap in my hands. IMO, this is a lesson a lot of people need to learn. Stop following the META because someone did some math on a forum, and pick something you actually have FUN playing. I'm going to guess it's the number one reason why people get frustrated with games and quit. They're so focused on "winning" or what "the best" is, that they never learn what's actually fun about a game.

Which doesn't mean the Liberty can't fill that role. If you enjoy it, go crazy! But for me I'd rather not use it.

yeah i enjoy it , a lot , on the other hand i couldnt stand using a d50 , not even with weapon handling , but its like you say we should use what we like , not what others say its better.

Same. I got mine from Season Track and It had the talent that I wanted so never bothered to farm another one.

True. I personally use TDI Pistol in most of my builds except PVP for which I use The Orbit.
But TDI is very stable, accurate and has a decently fast rate of fire too. I like it.

Well crap. Guess I'll just keep using my Mechanical Animal instead. That's ok though. It works better with my playstyle anyway.
