Hmmmm... Custom Kard with Future Perfect... I like it. Empress gloves rolled to armor... also interesting...Originally Posted by WrecK3rr Go to original post
As for Waveform, I put it in my stash. I love my hive and the refill rate from BTSU gloves places that deadly thing back in play in 18 seconds - 9 seconds when I deconstruct it. I enjoy actively engaging with my skills and the passive nature of the Waveform makes it much less interesting to me.
I'm using this build with waveform but without kinetic Momentum and glass cannon instead.Originally Posted by Riflemania Go to original post
These are the damage numbers with the capacitor fully buffed:
Turret with max waveform buff: 285k per hit
Turret without waveform buff: 257k per hit
Drone with max Waveform buff: 178k per hit
Drone without waveform buff: 123k per hit
Damage numbers will increase as i max out the stats on each piece of gear.
Well, let's think again about all Skill based Exotics, that you could use.
Memento. Although it's a top tier for solo builds, you should be aware, that trophies drop only if EXACTLY YOU kill enemies. Not even their weak spot. Also, you must pick it up, which is actually hard in legendaries or even in heroics (even with 1 blue from Memento you are squishy). So it's not that good in team fights.
BTSU - works great only with a hive. Anything else - don't bother.
Sawyer's - good for a Scalpel build, i guess, or using Capacitor. But a bit clunky to use. Although in long fights in a 4 man scenario - OK at best.
Imperial Dynasty - ok for status builds. But nothing more.
Acosta - you loose a talent, like Shock and Awe or Tech support or Combined arms. And it's good for CC builds mostly.
That's it. Everything else is basically full red builds.
Waveform is good when you use Combined arms and Keenetic momentum with Assault turret and Striker drone. Constant boost for both of you skills (sort of), plus you don't need to bother about pickin up trophies. Just sit in cover and shoot bad guys with In-sync/Capacitor. And watch them melting.
Um...how does Kard give you overcharge?Originally Posted by WrecK3rr Go to original post
And....why Hana-U? It's not like you need haste on a turret/drone build. Is it just for respawning them when they get destroyed or left behind?
Hana is for the skill damage, the skill haste is just there.Originally Posted by Sircowdog1 Go to original post
The other option would be Wyvern, but it would have Damage and Status, which is useless in a turret drone setup. Haste is still in effect even though not necessary.
The talent on that pistol, Future Perfect, gives you a Skill Tier for 15 seconds when you get a kill with it. If you're already at Skill Tier 6, which WrecK3rr is with that build, the kill gives you overcharged skills for those 15 seconds.Originally Posted by Sircowdog1 Go to original post
2 Hana-U or 1 Hana-U and ! Wyvern Wear are standard for a Turret/Drone build and are the best brands for this build. The other brand sets don't have what you need.Originally Posted by Sircowdog1 Go to original post
To WrecK3rr.....your build is pretty much my setup now except for 1 Hana-U and 1 Wyvern Wear instead of 2 Hana-U (brand set bonuses are the same so no big deal). My secondary weapon (M60 LMG with In Sync) and pistol (Optimist) are different. The LMG is there as a backup weapon in case I run out of AR ammo. I hadn't really thought about Future Perfect on the pistol since I only use it for the flashlight and popping yellow electrical boxes to open doors but I can see how that talent can be a help to this build....if you remember that you have it that is.
Yes Sir. Just pop a low health enemy with that pistol and boom Overcharge.Originally Posted by BrokenFire319 Go to original post
And yes, since I'm already at Tier 6 and don't like to waste stats, I went for an armor core to add more survivability.
Yep! Thanks for the explaining that pal.Originally Posted by Zathras23 Go to original post
Yep! Same thinking behind this build. Brand bonus for adding a second piece of Hana U is the same as adding one piece of Wyvern which is +10% Skill Damage.Originally Posted by Zathras23 Go to original post
So use which ever pieces you have as the output will be the same. As for the secondary weapon, same, like to keep The Mop as backup in case I run out of AR ammo.
Lastly, yes, I highly recommend using Kard Pistol with Future Perfect to get instant Overcharge for 15s every 90s. I love it.
Looks like I'll be farming for Pistols in The Summit. Till I get the named TDI pistol I'll be carrying my god rolled Mechanical Animal. This will violate my personal rule of not carrying 2 of the same type of weapon to avoid running out of ammo on that weapon. But if that happens I can switch over to one of the other non AR weapons I'm carrying for other builds.Originally Posted by WrecK3rr Go to original post
Use 1 piece Wyvern for the Damage, then a Murakami for Duration? Or 1 pc Wyvern, and 1pc Belstone for armor regen, so you don't have to reroll the Empress piece to armor. Hell, you could even grab a piece of Fenris to boost your Capacitor as long as it had Skill Damage as a secondary.Originally Posted by desrocchi Go to original post
It's a pretty minor difference, no matter what. ALL good options. I just see Skill Haste on a Drone/Turret build as virtually useless.
