    Waveform anygood?

Ain't tested it yet but what's your thoughts with it.

    I was going to go:

    3 x Empress
    2 x Hana-U
    1 x Wyvern

Perfect Combined Arms & Kinetic Momentum

    But am now thinking:

    3 x Empress
    1 x Hana-U
    1 x Wyvern
    1 x Waveform

Perfect Combined Arms & Kinetic Momentum

    For Turret & Drone build.

When I got one I added it to my skill build.
Waveform , Wyvern chest ( kinetic momentum ) , Force multiplier backpack and 3 hard wired.
    Capacitor as weapon.
    Striker drone and turret.
In a team support , I use Overwatch Wyvern chest and Artificer hive.

WF has potential to be an asset or a drawback, depending on the situation.

Let me quote myself from another post.

Waveform is not that great: the difference in damage is negligeable.

With a full HE build my turret deals 130.741 per bullet, with Waveform the average damage rises to 130.761 (123876 at 0 stacks, 137646 at 10 stacks).
My WF is missing 1.5 skill damage, though, so let's be generous and say it averages 131.000.

That damage is not evenly distributed, though, and you might find yourself with the buff on the skill that does not need it or, even worse, that's in cooldown.

To have an actual advantage from WF, compared to a fixed 20% skill damage from HE gear, too many things need to go right at the same moment, so I don't use it.

I mean, it's not really going to hurt anything, since there aren't a lot of better options for a Turret/Drone build in terms of exotics.

    BTSU is useless to you.
Acosta's takes the backpack slot, in which case you're better off using Memento.
Imperial Dynasty is effectively useless since you're not a status build.
Sawyers Knees could have potential if you're using Capacitor and shooting a lot with the Technician Spec.
Coyote Mask has some potential for groups and for shooting with Capacitor.
Vile is useless since you're not doing status or explosive damage. Unless you swap the Assault turret for a Mortar.

IMO, the only real choices are Memento, Sawyers, Coyote Mask, Waveform.

Each one represents a slightly different playstyle. The top three would all be used in combination with Capacitor. Waveform at the bottom can be used with any weapon. This would be the choice if you prefer In-Sync over Capacitor.

Memento for soloing. The added red damage, armor and regen, and constant 30% skill efficiency will hold you in good stead in any content.
Sawyers for defensive play, if you find yourself taking a lot of damage and not moving much.
Coyote Mask for groups if you're teamed with a bunch of shooters.

    Waveform for maximum skill damage.

I use it in a turret and drone loadout, so it's always good, because something is always actively getting a bonus to damage from it. I've seen people promote using a build with artificer hive instead of Striker Drone, Something like that probably wouldn't get much use from Waveform, since one of your skills gains nothing from the buff.

i use it with the new rigger set in my explosive build , its works best for me because i keep throwing mortars when the waveform is buffing them and seekers when pendulum of the waveform goes its way , i found to be the best way to take full advantage of that exotic in particular , paired up with the capacitor mortar hits over 8M sometimes , 6 or 7 most of the time, everything dies even in legendary.

    @OP,

I have tested it with all six god tier pieces including named Hana U backpack,
But, turns out Memento is stronger as it brings so much more to the table than just Skill damage like Waveform.
Can share my build if you'd like.

I'll have to give that a try. I already know what I'm swapping out (I use OP's replacement build) but I am curious as to what your build is and how close it is to what I'm doing.

It's an improvement to a skill damage build. No question about it. Is it the best piece for a skill damage build? Depends a lot on you and how you play. I use it. It's a simple boost that requires no thought. It was made for me. lol

    Sure. Here's what I run.

Every single piece that you see here is God Tier (fully min/maxed) including weapons & mods.
6 Yellows. 2 Blues & 1 Red. For Mods, I use Skill Duration on all 3 pcs as I'm already at 100% Skill Haste.
Custom Kard Pistol ready to give you Overcharge every 90 secs is just the cherry on top.
