I was just doing regular missions, goofing around, and this crazy sandstorm rolled in. It got me thinking what a survival mode would look like. Dust obscuring vision. Causing filters to fail and need to be replaced. Suppressing UI elements like the map and GPS. Creating that eerie mysterious feeling of not being in control.
I don't know. Just seems like a missed opportunity by the devs.
if this game was strict survival elements with an end game build content it would have been one of the best games ever made in history. Instead of doing that, adding more content of survival, maps etc they decided to have us use high tech gadgets with unlimited ammunition/resources in a post apocalyptic world. I still remember my best time ever was in Survival mode in New York. Snow storm, your monitor ice cracking freezing to death etc
Me neither.Originally Posted by YodaMan 3D Go to original post
I'm sure the devs have stats of how survival was doing in The Division 1 - and based in the feedback here and on YouTube it probably wasn't bad. They instead decided to include completely useless Kenly College and been ignoring Survival for 2 years now...
It's already going on in game right now, so I don't see why not.Originally Posted by TheLittleFarmer Go to original post
Less of a sandstorm, and more of a dust storm. All that garbage and ash and DC62 sitting around.
