First of all, thank you for your reply.
Second, I hope you are joking.
I know you provide us with info and I appreciate that, but it seems that the team who “is investigating” problems don’t even watch the videos they always ask for. The problem is not only in leaving cover, the problem is in MOVING ALONG COVER. That was in my video I sent you a long time ago. So yes, I guess, we have a couple more questions.
Even if it’s working as intended then why the speed is always changing randomly no matter how far you are from the side of the cover? Why the character sometimes moves fast and then suddenly slows down even if I push the movement stick all the way? Why the character moves like in slow motion when you are trying to turn around in cover? Why if I am standing in cover I move normally? The speed depends on how far I move the stick and I can leave cover without any “magnetism”? Don’t you think that a feature that so many people find absurd and inconvenient isn’t a feature? It’s a bug. Why do they always “fix” things no one asked to and don’t pay attention to what really is important?
I don’t want to sound rude but I just refuse to believe this is working as intended. This feature doesn’t prevent you from accidentally leaving cover, it prevents you from playing the game.
If you want, I can record more videos showing that there IS a problem. I just hope that you can tell the team that this needs further investigation and if not changing, then, at least, improving.
    Thank you in advance.

    Hi there Max_Druzhinin.

We appreciate that this may not have been the response that you were looking for from the game team. Thank you for getting back in touch and taking time to write with clarity, what you are experiencing with the cover movement.

We can assure you that the GR: Breakpoint team do look through and observe each video that is forwarded to them. Your feedback on this issue has been passed on, and we'll be sure to let you know if more information on this does become available.

Should you choose to record any further videos, this can be added to support the feedback you have given, and you're welcome to post them here for us to forward on.

Thank you again for the detailed reporting.

To support this thread and my desire to get this issue fixed I found another video on YouTube showcasing the same problem. This video even has a commentary so I hope it will draw the team’s attention to the fact that this IS an issue.

    Thank you in advance.

Thank you so much for sending over that additional video clip, Max_Druzhinin. I'll gladly get this added to the feedback that was previously sent over for you from your previous posts. Please do let me know if you have any other details to add as well!

I also disagree with the teams answer. This “feature” is NOT working as intended. This bug use to not exist. The game use to work as intended in regards to this issue. So don’t try and play us for a fool and say it’s working correctly. Forgive our frustration. But how can you not blame us? The issue isn’t “being in cover and trying to pull away from it”. Like I stated when I created this thread, the issue is “how the character moves ALONG cover while staying in cover”. While moving along cover the character moves at a snails pace, 1/4 the speed it use to before the game breaking update. This bug makes it impossible to stay in cover while moving. This bug did not exist before the specific update. While moving along cover the character use to move at the same speed as a normal crouched walk. This bug showed up after one of the updates that ruined this feature. This bug is completely game breaking and we do not accept this as a valid answer. It’s a bug created by one of your updates and needs to be fixed please.

And let’s make one more thing clear. How movement on a controller usually works? The further you push the stick the faster your character moves, right? So, in breakpoint, when you are out of cover, we have, let’s say, two options: jogging (when you push the movement stick all the way) and walking (when you push the movement stick just a bit), we don’t take sprinting into consideration. However, when you are in cover it seems that there are more options depending on how far you push the movement stick. And to give you the credit, when you are trying to move slowly, it seems to really work. BUT… But the problem is that when you are trying to move along cover at full speed (push the movement stick all the way) the character usually slows down to the lowest possible speed, then suddenly starts to move faster, then slows down again. That’s the problem. You are unable to move at your normal speed in cover.
Plus, when you are trying to turn around in cover using the movement stick, your character does it super slowly, although the change-shoulder button seems to work fine. I’ll try to record one more video showcasing these examples, but to be honest, I’m already tired of trying to explain everything over and over and over again expecting it to change. It looks like the “definition of insanity”.

    Hello guys,

Thank you for your continued updates and further information regarding the differences you've found when using cover previously.

As Ubi-Storm has noted above, your comments and points have been raised back to the team as feedback for them to look into further.

Any additional clip examples would be appreciated for us to add to this feedback and should we hear more from the team regarding any changes to these mechanics, we will let you know.

    Thank you!

So, taking into consideration that op Motherland is being released next week and Breakpoint forums moving into a new forum type I’d like to emphasise this one more time: I hope this cover movement bug is going to be fixed in the upcoming update. I really want to jump back into Breakpoint because the new trailer looks really good, but I’m afraid I’ll be unable to enjoy the game in its current state. It seems that everyone’s put a lot of effort into this update so let’s hope it won’t be in vain because of things such as this bug. I also hope that after the new update we won’t have to return to this thread ever again. Thank you.

I don’t see this bug being mentioned in the Motherland patch notes “bug fixes”. What a disappointment. This is a game breaking bug for those of us who have it. It’s clearly not suppose to be in game seeing how for the first year the in cover movement worked just fine and as intended. Now we can’t move while in cover leaving the character to be seen and killed instantly. So new content doesn’t matter since this bug is still in game. Bullet Catcher Gaming is one of your Delta members. He has this bug and a video of it. Contact him for info if you don’t trust your normal community. This is beyond frustrating and needs a fix.

Bullet mentioned it, FoxZero made a dedicated video on that, this thread has multiple videos (mine included) and still nothing. I’m not touching motherland no matter how good it is until this bug is gone for good. I just have a tiny little bit of hope they just didn’t mention it in the patch notes but got it fixed or, at least, rolled back to its initial state.
