    If chip damage would be lethal, staring contests would not be a thing. Think further.
    Lethal and increased chip damage would lead to players parrying more often. (or would want to parry more often)

    So your telling me that if I go against a spamming OROCHI with extra chip damage it will be ok. Honestly I don't care if you have a opinion about chip damage but the fact you said removed unblockables just got me questioning humanity.

    First of all, I would revert the CCU. Then I would make everything reactable and nothing guaranteed. That's the idea. If everything is reactable, players would parry more often. If parries would decrease the rewards, people will attack more often.

    What people still don't understand is, that being able to react to everything wasn't the problem in the first place. The problem was the guaranteed damage after a parry or a gb or a dodge.
    So what I'm thinking of is being able to attack without risking a lot of damage for getting parried. And for the defensive side, being able to react to everything to accordingly avoid damage.

    Reactable attacks -> more parries

    Non-guaranteed damage from parries -> more attacks

    Increased and lethal chip damage -> more dodges and parries (to negate damage)

    more dodges and parries -> more ways to open up opponents with new mix-up options

    Honestly this is 2021 I don't think they are gonna go back to the CCU like never. They change the CCU so the game can be more challenging and skillful. People who dislike it never tried to adjust to the new changes. I really don't know why you want to remove unblockable attacks for more chip damage but that wouldn't seem right. Did you ever thing if other people will agree with your idea or if the game would still be fun? All we do is parry so we don't take damage now that seems boring. I would rather play coolmath.

    Well yeah, removing the unblockables is a quite questionable idea, I must admit.

    I think you're right. The CUU most probably won't be reverted in the near future or ever, but what I don't think or what I don't actually see is how the CUU made the game more skillful. Yes, it's more challenging due to the fact that attacks are harder to react to, but more skillful? I don't think so. The grade of skill hasn't changed, imo. It's different, but all in all the same. Some things need to be adjusted, but I don't know what exactly. Making attacks less reactable was not the right direction, imo.

    Are you saying the game went dead after the new CCU due to toxic spammers and braindeads
