    Performance cut in half

    Hi all,

Been playing for about a month with an RTX 3080, 9700k, on ultra. Benchmarks I am around 85fps consistent, 80-90 fps in game via ubi fps counter. After playing for a bit, nzxt will give me my average fps and they are at 90-93 consistently and have been for the month I have been playing.

Well today I logged in after a week or so of not playing and ubi connect fired up and had some updates. I didnt think anything of it and once it was done I started the game up. Well I'll be.. 40-50 fps. I havent changed anything from last time I played. All drivers are up to date (tried rolling back again using DDU), restarts, to no avail. I ran a benchmark and my average fps is now 40 fps...

I don't even know what to say at this point. No updates have been made by me on this PC from then until now. The only update that I had was when I opened the game and the launcher had a quick update and now I am at 40fps. I dont even know exactly what it updated. Surely do not want to play at 40 fps.

Any ideas? Can I check if the game was updated or is that not a thing with Wildlands anymore.

Also want to add, my Time Spy benchmark numbers have remained the same, right on target.

    Hey there.

There hasn't been any Wildlands updates for quite some time. Can I ask you to try launching the game after a clean boot to see if this helps at all with performance please?

Make sure the game is in full screen mode. This game constantly switches back to borderless mode on me.
