Ultimate nonsense. 30 attempts and a total of 3x runway hits but a broken plane. It was enough to give a checkpoint after rescuing the doctor.

The weird thing is the wolves seem to move right to left across my front like a shooting gallery. The first time I hit that fight was crazy as I wasn't expecting it. After that even on hard difficulty it was a strangely easy fight.

23 hours on, and still haven't played the mission. Maybe I'll wait and see what happens after January 27, 08:00 UTC when the live event purportedly ends and everyone extraneous leaves the island again, leaving Nomad to wonder what the Jeebies just happened. Not that interested in all this gameplay anyway.

Yeah, they're all in the open without hardly any support (except for a handful of snipers here and there), while the player's dug in, taking shots at them from a hard point; it's a joke even on Extreme and THANK CHRIST FOR THAT...

I didn't even try on Extreme, as soon as I realised there was a Wolf attack coming in after I finally got the plane down in on piece after multiple tries (and I could fly on Wildlands)

I've given up on the event, because I'm about to do the last mission and only have 700 points.
Not enough points for all rewards.
Was only getting 100 points per mission.
But somehow the math is not adding up, and need more than 1000 for the last reward. So...
I'm not sure.
Went back to BFV.
Playing as a sniper and flanking the enemies, mutch more thrill than playing BP

Is there a re-start checkpoint when you successfully get the plane down?

Given my age and reflexes, I do so "enjoy" playing a version of The Alamo in a video game - not ...

@ArgimonEd - I haven't tracked the points whatsoever, but if you've been successful with all the missions I'm assuming this last mission will give you the last two rewards; the skin & weapon - at least that's what I'm assuming will happen however long it takes me to finish.

I think its a restart checkpoint after you landed the plane and checked it's cargo, because after you done that it trigger the end of the mission.

You check the cargo, and that's it, mission is over? IOW, you land (successfully) and the wolves are immediately on scene?

No, after you checked the cargo the sh!t hits the fan and the wolfs are coming for you
