From what little I have learned about the editor, it seems dialog and mission focused. Is there a way to set up a scene? For example; The actor walks into an area with several dead bodies. Can props be used or placed? It appears there is not much control with the environment other than choosing the proper location. I am no stranger to UGC editors and having limits placed on them. If I cannot place the dead bodies, is it possible for a superior NPC to kill some civilian NPCs before my actor arrives? Also I would need to have the superior NPC leave before my actor arrives to find just the dead bodies.
My Background: I worked on a UGC editor for about 5 years and they pulled the rug out from under us. They removed it completely and destroyed the stories we had created. I can't even begin to tell you how much that hurt. Like watching 5 years worth of books burned in a library for no reason. I came to terms with it and moved on, I recently heard of AC Odyssey and the UGC editor here.
I am spreading the word. I have more friends from that other game, who should be joining us here. I applaud UbiSoft and the Assassin's Creed team for making this happen.
Thank you!
You can spawn people of opposing factions at the same point and they will battle each other. Bandits will fight all the other factions, so if you spawn 1 unkillable bandit they'll kill everyone around. Then you can have them travel elsewhere, leaving a trail of dead bodies.
I was curious so I made a story testing and comparing different methods for this. I'm not going to publish it but you can have your own copy to play with: https://prod-g2w-acod.ubi.com/creato...z3Ta36TyeqbSw=
