If Lawbringer were to ever get reworked I think they should make his bash feintable. Since it’s slower than most bashes and now has no hyper armour it would be the perfect opportunity to give him more openers such as this, hopefully making him a more viable character again. If they’re gonna take away the one thing that made his bash stable then at least replace it with another buff that’ll help nearly just as good if not better, plus you don’t even have to add the hyper armour back because it’ll probably work more like Hito’s kick or Cent’s punch then which gives him that 50/50 leading to more opportunities for him to attack instead of needing to turtle. It’s about time he got fleshed out more really, compared to the other heroes I feel as though he’s just not got as much rhythm in his moveset anymore.

I don't think that a feintable bash is necessary for LB. But you are right in a sense that Shove was designed with HA in mind right from the get-go. Because they removed it, Shove lost it's most important design choice, therefore it doesn't work properly because the devs did not compensated the removal of HA with a buff. It is reactable and interruptible with a simple light attack, not a good opener at all (especially from a dodge), the move is almost flawed.
Every single non-chargeable bash in the game is 500 ms without HA, only Shove, Nobu's kick and HL's kick are slower (if I know it right), the last two are only accessible mid-chain. So we left with every non-chargeable bash which are accessible from a dodge as well. They are all 500 ms without HA except Shove which is 600 ms. This makes no sense. The solution would be to speed up Shove to 500 ms.
Thanks for reading, have a nice day!
Ok... Lawbringer.. Hmmmmmm
Buff:
NEEDS HYPERARMOR ON SHOVE
Needs more chain light attack options
NERF: His stamina needs to be depleted faster or make opponents deplete slower.
Fix is UNBLOCKABLE heavy finisher due to the lack of frames
That is all hes not really need a big buff compared to heros like PK, Nuxia, and Shinobi
Agreed with the more chain options.Ok... Lawbringer.. Hmmmmmm

When the Testing Grounds changes become live PK will be one of the strongest assassins in the game IMO (which is good, because I want to fight against other heroes as well, not just the meta picks). Compared to that, I think LB deserves some bigger buffs.
THANKS but I still think berserker holds the Assassin World Best ChampionshipOriginally Posted by Csodaszarvas_G Go to original post
Well, the question is the game mode. In duels, probably, though Gladiator is a strong contester. In 4v4, I think Shaman outperforms him easily. And I am unsure about Nuxia, she is still a rare hero, but every time I pick her, I have outstanding results- she is a big winner of CCU.Originally Posted by MastlyCJ Go to original post
Lawbringer needs some way to safely threaten from neutral, because right now, he has absolutely nothing from neutral, even if his lights are blocked, the incoming attack is nothing. His stamina management is also not the best, as soon as he gets to the dangerous parts of his chain, half of his stamina is off. The shove/side heavy mid chain mixup is good, I think he needs a way to access that easier.
Absolutely no to hyperarmor on shove. That was broken. And no to stamina nerfs as well, if anything, the game even needs more stamina, not less (I would totally lower the overall heavy attack stamina cost to 9 as well).
He definitely needs more options to apply pressure from neutral. Like a 500ms Shove and/or a faster (maybe 800ms) feintable Long Arm. And I wouldn't say no to other attack chain options as well.Lawbringer needs some way to safely threaten from neutral, because right now, he has absolutely nothing from neutral, even if his lights are blocked, the incoming attack is nothing. The chained ones, yes. They deal low damage. But the real strengh is how scary heavy attacks are with the trap mechanic, especially the finisher with a wall. And missed traps are not really hurt you, you can instantly chain into a 400ms light off of them.Originally Posted by Csodaszarvas_G Go to original post
