I got ACIII remastered from Steam with the AC Odyssey Golden Edition. I started playing it from awhile now, and until yesterday, no achievement was unlocked, when checked trough the Ubisoft Connect Client. As I read online, there is no way to check these in-game. There is a 'Rewards' and 'Challenges' sections that can be accessed trough the in-game UbisoftClub thingy, but I think these have nothing to do with the Achievements.
Today after I started ACIII Remastered, an automatic update of the Ubisoft Connect Client was performed, and it failed to initialize the game (not sure if the 'Initializing' signature means that), there was an option to try again, and it detected it successfully this time. After that it attempted to synchronize the Achievements which fails with the following error message:I tried the 'Try Again' option a few times, but it still fails. Of course if you choose to skip this, the game just starts normally.
The other strange thing is that some achievements appear as unlocked now:
But as you can see there are some random Achievements. For example, how can the Achievement that Sequence 5 is passed, is unlocked, but the Achievement for Sequences 1, 2 and 4 are still locked (not sure why there is no Achievement for Sequence 3)
I guess this is more of a Ubisoft Connect issue, which I assume is experienced on other Ubi games ? Any of you found some solution or any suggestion on the matter ?

Can you go through the steps found here, especially the part about port forwarding and let us know if this is still happening
This issues started on my PC as well in the last 12 hours.
Within the last 12 hours I should have received the "completionist" achievement (all missiones and side and all stuff 100%)
Well, after the sessoin where I made the last 100% side mission I went to the homestead and exited the game.
But then I got this "failed to syncronize achivement" error message. I waited for 3 hours with the window as in the screenshot from prodigy912015 and retried every now and then to "TRY AGAIN", after 4 hours (8 a.m. EST) I exited the game.
From now on every start and exit would lead to the sync issue.
So I googled for a solution, uninstalled "ubisoft connect" as described in the Ubisoft help documentation, then I reinstalled the client.
I also deleted the file
"c:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\Ubisoft Game Launcher\spool\<GUID>\5183.spool"
(I'd have the file if necessary as backup)
now I can start and exit the game again without errors, but this achievement (completionist) is never triggered.
Communication (ports etc. for u-client) is fine, I got an achievement from the TOKW an hour ago, confirming my proper network setup.

As I recently received an achievement from TOKW recently the issue does not seem to be related to blocked ports.
