Ok so I had my filled, even if the unidad folks were taking their sweet ole time to come in even at 4 chevrons of difficulty? It's like they were taking a siesta and didn't want to respond to the radio (bastards). At any rate, F.O.B. Armadillo or Amarillo, can't never remember the names in Itacua is where the slaughter was taking place, any of the sniper guard towers overlooking the dirt roads is where one wants to be, even though to make it more challenging i am going to try the other tower next time.

So, no pictures because idiot that I am I let them kill me twice before I was planning on taking an image, then I was getting bored that they were not coming and by the time I want to snap one just in case they kill while eating ****, I forgot the F key to open camera mode or whatever its called and I also forgot the Nvidia short cuts to take a picture, 2 patrols with the heavy duty trucks decided to pop in while a gunship was trying to flank me and the last guy got me good and that was all she wrote... no image to show my running a mock in the F.O.B.

This was totally unfair you guys but I have vowed to take my revenge on that same base tomorrow and be prepared with the proof needed to get the secret handshake to enter the masters club where Mike and Jord reside

In game it's F10 to open photo mode, then F12 to make the photo; in Nvidia Geforce it's Alt+F1 to make a screenshot.
But this is why I video record all my playthroughs, I never know when there's something gold in it. Videos are recorded as MP4 and can easily be played by my player of choice MPC-HC.x64 and with that I can always pause screen and make a screenshot of the video.

I posted a complete how to on video recording in this post over on the GRB forums.

Now then, about that secret handshake in corona times...

Last night I went back to FOB Armadillo but I wasn't in on it so I kept dying to quick (lot on my mind I guess) and today I have tried to work more on the constant freezing/locking on BP so I didn't fire up WL at all.

    More to come I guess.

I was able to muster a few vehicles (around 20+) but I just don't have the stamina and patience that you guys have to just wait for them to come so I go out looking for them and well, I get wasted. In other words... I suck at it

I just might upload the image tomorrow so you guys can have a little laugh at the newbie trying to get 100+ vehicles and Helos like you guys can.

Sometimes it takes a bit of time because the AI is stuck in another place. For instance, at the Remanzo base they tend to come from the far side (the road on the far left from the HQ building) and there it happens that vehicles get stuck, and even Unidad soldiers get stuck. I fly out with my drone and drop mortars on them. That kills stragglers and makes new ones respawn quicker.

Not directly related to exhausting Bolivia's military budget and resources on a single QRF call but rather, was playing me some low level Ghost Mode and don't ask me how I managed, first, to get detected in the "Framing El Wey" mission at all, and second to escalate things with Unidad to the point that, 20 mins after I find myself and my baby-poop FAL with iron sights running for our lives across the mountains of La Cruz with 2 Little Birds in tow. Avoiding roads as much as possible, 'cause I was sure as hell I'd be encountering Unidad head as soon as I did so.
Managed to SERE the choppers for half a Province until I came upon a van which cemented my belief that God's influence extended to videogames, and finally got out.
An experience BP is yet to deliver, even considering that game's advertizing hung on that very premise.

If you want to have some fun, Fallen Ghost is much better because it seems that the sponginess and shrugging of the enemy is balance with the player as well so as they take more hits to die so do you and everyone is having fun at the end. Wildlands and things like this are even better than trying this in BP. I don't know, people say the graphics are better there but if you happen to utilize ADS like I do, the BP zoom are blurry as hell.

I hear you man, I've played FG a fair share when it came out, and yeah, even as it's prototype is better than BP for starters.
There's a discussion over the other forum on whether or not Ubi should move ahead updating the engine these games are running on, which of course they should, although nobody addresses the, in my mind at least, veritable Behemoth in the room: BP could've looked the same as WL for all I care; if the extra polygons, extra mould and expensive postprocessing techniques is what precludes me from having lushier environments and sensible draw distances as in WL. All BP needed to be better than WL at a superficial level at least, was better/complete animations, a WAY bigger focus on shooting and a more tactically origiented artistic sensibility; not minding here how Bolivia is clearly the better setting (talking about the place, not the context of the conflict) here or any other more fundamental aspect of the game,be it better shooting (ballistics, injury system) mechanics, a systems-based openworld design, AI commands, ect. You know how it goes.
But again, the only thing that I struggle with everytime I play WL, and I do fairly regularely, are the animations, as animations will trump graphical quality everytime.

To me, the most important part of a shooting game is, well, the shooting, looking good could be 2nd and transport is a distance 3rd but it appears that I am in the minority when it comes to scaling down from this but again, it seems we are just flogging that same dead horse.

I don't know anything about Virtual Engines, hell, I know very little about combustion engines but I know one thing, BP is the poster child for the Jack of all Trades of ALL the Genres.

Anyways, I have gone to FG twice now but I'll be damn if I can find an operating base to initiate a take down like I can in Itacua FOB Armadillo. Of course, this is due to the fact that I haven't played WL is almost 1 year so I don't remember the areas very well. I thought I could have found that base in Ocoro with the underground but didn't see it in the map. Mike, Jord, Cuervacho, any Base in FG that I should be looking to try this?

OK so we need to be able to hit Photo Mode immediately after you get shot the third time, otherwise I can never get to the shot where I get the most vehicles

Ok so this one I believe it was a test to see if I could take a snapshot of the first baby steps I was taking. OhhhhhKKKK, that is not the correct link, give me a moment gents. Oh, there it is.

Then I took a few afterwards but of course, as stated above, I should have taken one right before I get deader than a door nail. But oh well, this is the best I can do.

I know, what a Noob, right? Although, in my defense, I could have sworn that vehicles were disappearing from time to time. LIke for instance, the main entrance was packed after a while and then the last time I checked, it was almost empty.
